I think this place is ok but a bit overrated. Work recommend trying it out but its not going to blow your mind. Enjoyed the chicken, skewer things. Nothing really blew my mind but its not bad!2022 edit - I actually have been going back and really like it these days. Love the meat and the mushrooms.

Been here three times, one of my favourite spots in the city. I’ve never spent less than $75pp, but the rich, smoky and unique flavours are worth it.

Excellent cuisine if you want to try other than sushi in a japanese restaurant. The calamari, the ribs, the liver, and the eel were my favorites.

Waiter was friendly and quick but the food was really sub par and quite salty. The Tuna was quite good

Lots of great little plates to share. I tried the gin cocktail which was really good. The service was perfect and the atmosphere in the bar is really cozy, you feel good there.

The best restaurant I have eaten at.Positive:Very good teams, polite, respectful, helpful, smiling and professional.Excellent dishes whether temperature, portions or taste.Price more than fair and affordable.Good selection of dishes and drinks on the menu.Very good atmosphere and location of the restaurant.Negative:Sea urchin flan too salty. The manager offered to change it immediately.Dessert menu small but excellent.I recommend this place with my eyes closed. The smells, the atmosphere, the taste of the products is just unique. This is the best restaurant I have eaten at to date.WELL DONE

Overpriced food and drinks. Prices are not reasonable. The chicken wing was too salty, not well cooked. The overall experience was under expected so I won’t recommend to go.

Good to experience Japanese culture in Montreal. I recommend going with a group of 4-6 to try as the food is not your common food you eat daily. The quality is good. The service was not the best.

The yakitori was great, and definitely a good drinking spot—seems very reserved after 7PM, but the dishes lack an oomph to actual Japanese food or Izakayas in Japan. The interior design is great though. The yakitori might’ve needed more sauce, only salt to taste on it, and the gyuudon sauce tastes a little too similar yakitori sauce. The lamb skewers were very good, not fatty compared to other shops here.Hot tea was just Oolong who like hot drinks btw.

After a stay in Japan, I was nostalgic for Japanese yakitori grills. This place fulfilled my "craving" and was truly authentic. Very good, worth trying!

Food was exceptional! All the yakitori we tried blew us away. Highly suggest trying the premium and otto set yakitori. Goes well with a bottle of peach soju! Service was amazing and staff were very friendly. We will definitely be back.Dietary restrictions: Allergic to dairy and staff were able to make changes easily (omitting butter from certain yakitori).
