The food was OK, nothing special. But the service was horrible. We took the table d'hôte, but they refused to give us the dessert that was included. No reason given. Never going back.

It was a last minute choice and was mediocre.

It’s gone downhill. They changed the grilled beef and it tastes nothing like the one they used to serve. Imperial rolls are good.

Bon service, nourriture excellente et c’est chaud

I've been coming here since 2006 and always enjoyed it as an inexpensive bring your own wine restaurant with decent food. It is still all of those things but inexplicably there are fewer and fewer people going there, to the point where the place is almost always empty or has one or two other patrons. The nail in the coffin for me was the last time I went, at 8:30 pm on a Saturday night, and they said they were closing at 9:00 pm and just doing take out. On a Saturday night. In the centre of Montréal. It's really sad the way this restaurant and the entire neighbourhood have declined over the years. In terms of food, the grillades table de hôte and the chicken with peanut sauce and crispy spinach are the best! Always a great taste and value. As others have noted, this is not the place to order authentic Pho. The soups are good but they are Tonkinois and Tom Yum, not Pho.

Ordinary, I think the portions to be quite small. The meat beef, pork and shrimps were overcooked, the sauce that came with the plate tasted like it had almost turned sour, not the normal vinegary tastes buy a weird after taste like a bad wine. The noodles were fine, the rolls were fine , but very underwhelming. Normally I would give this place 2/5 but considering this is one of the rare Vietnamese restaurant to still have desserts I gave them a star just for that. Also, when I arrived the dishes/cuttlery were slightly dirty, nothing much but it's a point to note. Although I found the culinary experience ordinary the place itself is quite pretty, and there was a certain ambiance. If I had to choose I would not go back but it's not the worst place either.

Great Vietnamese Pho and Chicken teriyaki! Fast and friendly service!
The food here was really great! I recommend the pad Thai or pho with imperial rolls.

They make the best chicken Pad Thai I've ever eaten. I also like their brochette combos, and on top of all that it's byob so you can bring your favorite wine with you, without paying the restaurant prices. I like the wonton soup, but a friend absolutely loves their Tom Yum vegetable soup. Nice ambience, clean, good bathrooms. Very reasonable prices. Near Papineau metro. I eat there on a regular basis. Good capacity, comfortable chairs.

Nothing fancy but they have the biggest, fresh spring rolls I've ever seen. Delicious with peanut sauce. Small soup selection but very hot, tasty, and generous with ingredients. No complaints!
