Tasty juicy burger. We had the 'mob' and 'lefty'. They're about $23 each. Fries included. I substituted the fry with poutine (small). Gravy is too watery for my liking. We added a lemon soda and spring water. $70 with taxes before tip. Seems excessive. My 2nd visit. Will try several other burger 'joints' before returning here. I'd give a 3.5 however Google does not allow half star ratings. QDC does not deserve a 4 IMO. Staff is friendly and service is efficient.

Visited the St. Viateur location of this small, quaint restaurant. They offer one of the best burgers in Montreal, accompanied by tasty fries. Try the Lefty, or a build your own. Special mention to Dimitra for outstanding service. Highly recommend for a cozy and delicious burger.

The best poutine in Montreal.This is coming from someone who has been on a hunt! And the reason why this is the #1 poutine is because the fries are cooked in beef tallow - a refreshing departure from the ordinary motor oil used elsewhere. The result? Irresistibly buttery fries that stand out even without gravy. Though truth be told, that QDC gravy is king, an enigma of richness and flavor – so delectable it makes all other poutines seem bland in comparison.We found ourselves savoring every last drop, scraping the bowl for that extra bit of goodness. Bravo QDC on elevating a Montréal staple!

Best hamburger we've had in Montreal so far! Quality ingredients, very well made hamburger and careful assembly! Surprised! We ordered the Lettys and the Rico Burger. We went back and ordered the Franch Dip, very good too!

Friendly and helpful counter service. You can either choose one of the burgers that are on the board or make your own. 1/3 or 1/2 pound burger. You can add stuff like truffle oil and Cajun shrimp to your burger.My burger was the usual all dressed. The taste was good but not amazing. I was disappointed that the bun fell apart after the first bite.The fries look good but are ok. Nice size portion.The classic Mac n cheese was delicious but more like a pasta with a delicious cheese sauce. My teenager did not like it.Two burgers, two fries, one Mac n cheese, two cans of soda 76$ including taxes, not tip.
It's a cold December night in Old Town Montreal, a local restaurant just cancelled our computer reservation, and we are hungry. We stumble upon QDC Burger and take a chance. The owner/chef Peter greets us, explains the menu and says there is a short rib special that could feed two. It arrives and it is a full short rib with bone on a brioche roll, with carmelized onions, oyster mushrooms, spicy aioli and truffles. It is accompanied by french fries covered with juice leavings from the short rib, parmesan cheese and truffles (think poutine that has died and gone to heaven). The meal is beautiful, savory and filling. It doesn't get any better. An excellent dining experience from a proprietor who knows his business.

"QDC Burger exceeded my expectations! What started as a random burger spot turned into a delightful surprise. The burger was simply amazing, and the fries were top-notch. I can't wait to return and dive into their special creation burgers--definitely coming back for more! Big thanks from Boston!
