The food was good, a bit small compared to other authentic Mexican restaurants we usually frequent. The service was good but the only 2 servers were slammed on a sat night. The restaurant itself is a bit small and so their menu but the overall experience was good. The seasoning was perfect.

My best choice to date of Mexican restaurant in Montreal. Traditional cuisine prepared according to the rules of the art, elaborate, varied and delicious regional dishes. Many options for vegetarians.

My 2 daughters and I had dinner here on our last night in Montreal and we all agreed that it was the best Mexican food we've had (disclaimer - we are not Mexican lol). The owner (?) was so sweet and accommodating as well. I inhaled the Chile rellenos. Delicious hibiscus iced tea and chia lemonade. The building/space is also incredibly cool and feels like it has a lot of history. 10/10, no notes.

Very disappointed by the food. Pricier than expected. This place was recommended to us as a hidden gem with modest decor but amazing and authentic food. ~300 Google reviews were mostly positive and it is listed as $, so we gave it a try.My main problem is that the food was bland. Two salsas that were served with the chips (green and red) barely had any taste. Chicken Mole was not even close to what we had in Mexico, chicken was pretty dry and the chocolate sauce didn't have the flavour kick. Guacamole was also tasteless. Additionally, the portions were unusually small for Mexican restaurants. The portion of rice sides that came with dishes was small. The beans portion had probably 1 table spoon in it.All in all, we ordered just enough for 3 of us not to be hungry and 2 beers and paid over 140$. Would not go back or recommend to anyone else.

Really good tacos however portion size is very small, need to order 2-3 main dishes to be full

Was excited to try some highly rated tacos near me, but unfortunately didn’t love them. Service was friendly if not super helpful, ambience is ok, but the tacos just didn’t do it for me. Dry and tired is how I would describe them. I didn’t try the various tapas, so can’t comment on them.

Food was OK but for the prices portions were very small. You would need at least two ‘main courses’ if you are hungry. Then you would be paying $30-$40 each! Also the 25 minutes I was told it would take ended up at 40. I don’t see this place being around by the time winter is here with few repeat customers and little passing trade. I also can’t believe many of the 5* reviews are genuine.See, I said they wouldn't last. Moving location doesn't make it any better value... many better Mexican places in Montreal.

I was really dissapointed of the quantity of food they serve in the dishes, I've just asked to taste the food from Uber Eats but I didn't see any pic of the portion of the dishes but as I had seen that they had like more than 4.5 I thought It was gonna be a good choice but please it was like $80 CAD for this type of proportions in the dishes? (Is not even the size of my hand for ex in this Tacos of the picture, and even when I also asked sopes, enchiladas and all was the same). I hadn't seen in any other mexican restaurant in Montreal that serves in this way so poor, please take note from other mexican restaurants such as Chilanga Taqueria, Tacos Victor, Lola Restaurante, Tacos Lakalaka and the proportion they serve and please avoid serving in the future this portions so miserables! (At least for the price you are giving is not what we expect as costumers) I'm really disappointed for your food, sorry.

I can't believe how greedy restaurants are becoming. A ordered a portion of pastor for two, which was the size of a half a stick of butter and it was 25.00. I asked them if they were serious and they said "yes". Literally, four spoon fulls. I've learned my lesson and buy a pork shoulder and have better pastor for days.

Amazing food and service! We got homemade tortilla chips and salsa while we waited for our food and it's worth it for the chips alone! We got tacis al pastor and they were super flavourful. I wish there was more pineapple but otherwise fantastic! Highly reccomend!!

We had an amazing experience, food was excellent and fresh (with option for foods not too spicy if one prefers it mild) and not too expensive.

The food was excellent ! One of the best Mexican restaurants in Montreal , I highly recommend it .Vegetarian options: Cactus tacos, quesadillas, avocado soup, guacamoleKid-friendliness: High seats, staff asks parents what they prefer right away (kid seat or normal), music not loud (not overwhelming)

The food was excellent and beautifully presented and the service was exceptional. I had fish tacos, and Avocado soup. My wife had tacos au pomme de terrier and Avocado soup. We also shared a Avocado dip which too was excellent.
