My high school buddy has owned Marvens since forever.I remember this food from my childhood and it hasn’t changed.
? MUST TRY! ? What a hidden gem! This place is a must try if your in Montreal! Great food at great prices! The amount of squid you get for the price is unbelievable! Their taramasalata will transport you right to Greece! You’ll lick the plate before you leave!

Overall the food is great .. my only comment is that in a few of the Geros the some parts of the chicken was dry felt like it was shaved little earlier or been rotating little longer .. next time I will stick the the chicken on a stick Gero.. the Calamari was fantastic ? ?
Fresh food with big portions! I love their calmars, the best one in the whole Quebec province. I wish I had a bigger stomach.

It's served with sautéed mushrooms, chunky home fries, and a huge Greek salad.Honorable mentions and must-haves are also their lamb chops and abundant calamari.Special thanks to Jimmy and Peter, for the exceptional service.This is a landmark in Montreal, and truly worth a trip to Park Extension. There may be lineups, but it's worth it.Note : Cash only, but there's an ATM online.
Very cozy restaurant! Hard to find parking around and waited for almost one hour to get a table though. I tried ribs and dish Kabab and they tasted amazing!

Marven’s is hands down the best Greek restaurant I’ve been to! Been coming from Ottawa especially to eat here for the past 30 years very consistent, staff treats us like family. Service is fast, staff very courteous and food is AMAZING! Rib steak, calamari and lamb chops are the best I’ve had, their house sauce is great, authentic food amazing flavours.
My family and I have been eating at this location for over 25 years, we live in ottawa and average one trip a month to Marvens. Our kids now ask us to visit Marvens weekly, they love this place and so do we. The best Calamari, Steaks, Ribs, and anything else we have eaten here. The staff is always amazing, courteous, fast, and treat you like family.

It was really really yummy food!!!! :) It was such a delightful experience. The lamb chops were absolutely delicious. Kind of wished I ordered 10 pieces instead of 5. The calamaris were extremely soft and delicious and such a big portion!! We really the experience. Highly recommend!!!!

Classic Greek restaurant in Montreal. The fried calamari appetizer is very good and is enough to feed 4 people. I had the pork souvlaki. It was good but nothing extraordinary. I've had better souvlaki elsewhere. The complimentary bread was also not great. My friends ordered the lamb which was very good. Potato house fries are good as well. The rice and salad were average. Service was nice and fast. There are better Greek restaurants in Montreal in the plateau area but overall not a bad choice.
