This used to be one of my favorite place as a child and would visit a few times a month. The sausage sub is a classic and has been for over 30 years now. Simple and delicious. People and service are friendly. Now that I no longer live in Montreal I make a point to stop by when I am in town.

I haven't been there for 15 or more years and boy was I wrong to do that! The sub was super fresh and made perfect. My friends were impressed too! The staff made me feel like I've known them for years... if you want a great sub and feel like you're eating in your own kitchen then this is the place to go.

Took me too long to finally come and try a sangwhich here at Momesso’s. I definitely wasn’t disappointed. Had the Supreme and it was amazing. Service was quick and great. If you haven’t been yet you should go.

Picked up a family sized French Fries and they were horrible. Tasted like old oil and were mostly dried out tiny chunks that looked like they were the scraps from the previous day. If I wasn't so busy I'd bring them back. I won't be going back.

As others have stated, this is a Montreal Classic. Great Subs with great service and the prices are fairly reasonable. Anytime you are in the area you must stop here to get a bite to eat.Food: 5Service: 4.5Atmosphere: 5Price: $20CAD per personTotal: 14.5/5 (Rounding up to 15/15)

Wow what a disappointment, the young cook was rude and cocky, he made a mistake on an order and it was take or leave it, not his problem. The sub was nothing like it used to be, I know costs are going through the roof, but have some price 22 bucks for a 14 inch sub, sure its 14 inches but the bun is half the size, meaning half the ingredients. I could never leave Momesso's hungry, that's changed. I doubt I'll ever go back, its been a while, but it used to be an iconic place. The cost is one thing, but the attitude of the staff was shocking. I'm absolutely Gobsmacked.

Food is excellent. We were 4 people and each had a different submarine. Fries were very good. Beer on tap was cold as well as a reasonable selection for a small restaurant.

This place looks like nothing from the outside. Inside it is pure nostalgia from another era’s sport center dinning room. BUT, don’t let the first impression get the best of you. I had a cheeseburger and it was the best I had in a loooooong time, AND they have Brio which is amazing (they also do real coffees). It’s your best Montreal dinner meeting with Italian delicacy. MOSTLY, the service was efficient, kind and thoughtful. I have been working in fine dining restaurant for many years now and the waiter had an outstanding service for every step of the experience. She managed to make the act of having a cheeseburger in a basement restaurant feel like being both at Home and at your most refined table. The place is clean, ambiance is cozy and warm. I highly recommend.

An institution in Montreal ... been around forever. Delicious food (5 star sausage subs), terrific service, plenty of street parking. Prices have gone up, but overall absolutely worth a visit.
