The food and service was horrible. We ordered the fried oysters, spinach and cheese dip, smoky salmon salad, and the shrimp sandwich. The spinach and cheese dip smelled and tasted rancid. I had to move it away from me because the smell was so bad. The oysters were nothing special, smoky salmon salad did not taste fresh, neither was the shrimp. The bun was dry and old. We told the staff that the spinach and cheese dip was horrible, and they took it away. After I made this comment, the wait staff were rude. There was no discount offered, no reconciliation. There are plenty of amazing seafood restaurants in old port, do not waste your time and money here.

Beautiful place, good location, amazing service! We had a great wine suggestion…a wonderful Sancerre! And thanks to Happy Hour, we got 25% off. To discover!

The waiter we had and entire staff was above and beyond, we were very impressed! The food was great and so was the espresso martinis! We ordered the wedge salad and tacos.

My wife, 3 year old son, and I had a fantastic time dining here the week before Christmas. The staff are all very kind, the service was excellent, and the food was delicious (not to mention the drinks were out of this world).

A great surprise for us as we did not expect too much for a restaurant opened on a Sunday evening in Old Montreal. The service was impeccable, the food was excellent as well as the wine. We will definitely come back...we're told there is a nice terrasse in the summertime :)

Candidly underwhelmed. Favors subpar and, honestly, portions much smaller compared to images posted on Google. Don’t get the extra upscale sides, ordered the beef with the recommend gnocchi side and it was an extra $12. Not worth the price and many places nearby offering better food for more affordable prices.

Food quality was not what I expected based on the reviews I saw. While ordering I was up-sold for a side-dish that was sub-standard and cost an additional $17.00 which I was not prepared for. Few vegetarian options/substitutions--this one is my fault as I should have studied the menu better. A stuck door caused patrons to have to close it to protect from cold gusts of air to spill into the room regularly...the staff seem unaffected by it.

Our server was Alex and he gave us an exceptional customer service, kept us updated throughout the entire process, also went above and beyond and made us really good drinks for us to try. The entire experience was amazing, thank you Alex! you are incredible!!

We had a fantastic dining experience at Le Polisson on our final evening in Montreal. We thoroughly enjoyed the prix fixee menu the restaurant offered during November's MtLaTable promotion. The Quebecois inspired dishes featured local ingredients; the appetizer, entree and dessert choices were absolutely delicious and the serving portions generous. Great atmosphere in the 300+ year old building, and kind, attentive service from all of the staff, especially Alex and Eric, who shared their intimate knowledge of the dishes, sorbets and wine selections. Most impressive, and so appreciated. Thank you for making our Montreal celebration so memorable. We'll certainly be back! Ian & Naomi Vancouver, BC

We staid here and had a good dinner. We ordered braised beaf and steam mussels. Both of they are very delicious. Mussels is very fresh and steamed with wine. Braised beef taste good and really soft to bite. French fries is crispy and not oil. But crispy oyster appetizer is so so.

Charming venue in the heart of Old Montreal. Stopped in for a quick cocktail prior to dinner at a different venue on the same street. We were extremely impressed by the service and will definitely go back to try their Moules et Frites!

I'm told the menu changed since the last time one of my guests was there. The menu we saw was very eclectic. Also, a little disappointing. The menu was quite limited serving sandwiches, gnocchi in cheese sauce and a few other items. I'd hoped for a few more sophisticated items to choose from. Regardless, the food was good, the waiter very attentive and management was obviously present and making sure their guests were happy. A good harbinger for success.
