Any establishment that dont criticism by the patrons they serve cant be taken seriously. Was looking for a steakhouse and they way who ever looks after the reviews dismisses the bad reviews should quit. The Lack of accountability is flagrant.

First time going there but Wow!! There is also a cigar lounge located upstairs. Having not been to such a chic and expensive restaurant for many years, I had a service that reminded me of that at Moises or La Queue de cheval. .Caesar salad (with anchovy option, friends) is prepared in front of you directly at your table! Everything was sublime and the service impeccable..I recommend this place hands down!! MiAM ☺️?

Not the type to leave a review , but need some closure here..It started off with shaky service. Waiter sees two hungry looking guys with menus closed , finished the first round of drinks, and still takes 25 minutes(no exaggerating) to come back to table to bang out order (our section was 70% empty with 4 waiters). Whatever, we shake it off , gonna eat a good steak and all will be good.First time visiting so I opt for the PK cut instead of lunch menu cut. Want to get the full experience and judge properly. Get the steak it looks like a beautiful cut, but also looks like there isn't any seasoning on it. Gonna take the first bite with no mods. So clearly the steak has absolutely ZERO seasoning, not even a sprinkle of salt. Salt up my steak, add steak spice and in the meantime waiter passes and I ask him for a roasted garlic or a compound butter (that $94 steak was screaming for flavour). The waiter says they ran out of roasted garlic comes back with chopped garlic in vegetable oil and starts lathering it all over my steak at his own will. Ask him to stop when I notice that it looks like the chopped garlic you get from Sysco to use for preps, and of course it didn't help give the steak a proper flavour. Scrape off garlic and in my confused state finish off rest of steak.To cook a $94 steak without applying any salt prior to cooking doesn't make any sense. I'm not sure if this is standard practice at the establishment or was just bad luck for us, but when a customer pays top dollar for a product you're famous for it should be executed properly from start to finish. The lacklustre service on top of all this was the icing on the cake.Conclusion TLTR: was the only high end steak house haven't tried in the city and had high expectations, but this experience left me perplexed. Was a good looking cut of meat , but lacked proper execution and the service was just completely upside down.

I ordered a bottle of chardonnay. The waiter brings it to me room temperature. I had to order another bottle. I ordered 4 rib steaks and 1 filet minion. The steaks were tasteless. definitely missing seasoning. The filet had to return because it was uncooked. I eat at all steakhouses in and around Montreal. This was definitely disappointing. I called them today and left them a message for them to call me back . I did not want to make a scene yesterday as it was my son's birthday. I am still waiting for a returned call. The waiter and ceasar salad were very good .

It was really loud. We had a “lovely” table behind us that is waisted and screaming. The food was good but the service was so so. It took the waiter 20 minutes to get us the bill.

Very poor service. The waiter was mixing up orders and invoices. And being charged $30 for still water without being informed of the cost beforehand is inexcusable. I am really disappointed with my experience.

It was a great experience we had at Rib'n Reef. The service was outstanding , thanks to Yousef and Carl, food was excellent, from the entree of salmon tartar (excellently spiced ) to the dessert. The ambiance throughout the whole evening was cozy. Finished off with a cigar in lounge. Five star evening.

Overall it was nice, the only problem was the 3 tables with crying kids that lasted 1 hour!. Once they left we were able to enjoy our evening. Service was good, but didn't appreciate our waiter neglecting us at one point and then continued being served by another waiter.
