Family owned super cute restaurant! Went here before covid started. Loved the atmosphere and all the dishes were really good. My favorite was the burrata pizza and the mac and cheese. I had the grilled cheese but it was soooooo good. Try their homemade hot sauce! The service is excellent and I'm so glad we came here! thanks

This restaurant is probably my favorite place ever.I came here last year on a trip while visiting Montreal. The restaurant was highly recommended on Yelp so I decided to check it out.Indoor ambience is very homey French bistro. We sat by the windows and it had a good view of the streets. The music was also amazing, as a techno / house fan, I loved their music - so much that I asked them for the playlist. The food was AMAZING. For appetizer, we got a fish appetizer, beautiful presentation and very yummy. For the entree, I got the brisket mac and cheese remix. WOW. I have no words because it was so good I'm speechless. This is a must get.We got a bread pudding for dessert and that was also delicious. It was so warm and creamy, with just the right amount of sweetness.I can't recommend this place enough. I still think about the brisket mac and cheese...

A wonderful place from atmosphere to food and drink. Very clearly a family run business, the staff were so nice and welcoming. The menu options were gourmet and tasted amazing. They even make their own soda! Upon my next trip to Montreal I will be coming here again.

I traveled with my mom to Quebec in the summer last year and looked up for restaurants to meet up with my long-time-no-see high school friend living in Canada. Le Robin Square caught me with high reviews for good food, warm ambiance, and friendly services. The restaurant is owned and run by a family so you will have a warm welcome feeling when dining here as well. The food is very professionally presented and served. Portions are small and a little pricey. A nice dining experience!Highlights of the night:1. Foie gras Croque Monsieur Style2. Poached Cod3. An appetizer with cheese

(Visited 12/17/2019.) While looking around for some places to eat I ran into this one that had some spectacular reviews and even better pictures so I needed to experience it for myself! Here's how it went...Atmosphere/Appearance: Right outside of the busy section of downtown is this gem. Big windows let in a lot of natural light, but too bad that it's a snowy, gloomy, cold night. Street parking is available since this place does not have its on parking lot. Inside is very nice, chic and intimate. The lighting is low, floors are wood, the music is soft and the restaurant isn't too big which adds to those intimate vibes.Service: Reservations are recommended because you'll be waiting if you don't have one. This place is very popular. Juan took excellent care of us. He ran the bar, served people and was cleaning up tables all at the same time.Food: The plating here is so freaking elegant. The food looks like art and you ALMOST feel bad for eating it. Lol. I started off with the Lamb Meatballs From Lochette Farm. It's a very simple dish consisting of the lamb, tomatoes, bocconcini and a small English muffin. They were so delectable, savory, hot and good. You get an order of 3 "normal-sized" meatballs submerged in the sauce with some delicious cheese as well. With every dinner you get complimentary bread which is also fantastic. This place just can't go wrong! Lol. For my entreé I went with The Ultimate Experience. Sounds crazy right? It's actually a huge piece of Nagano pork belly, celery root, pears, apricot in a maple sauce. It was good, but the sweet pureé with the savory meat and other flavors made for an odd flavor combination that I didn't expect. It was still good, but with unexpected flavors.Value: (All prices in $CAD.) This place isn't cheap, but it's not like, "I can only do this once in a lifetime expensive" either. Lol. The meatballs were $19.00 and my pork belly was $34.00. The food is absolutely worth it because the quality is there. In conclusion I really enjoyed myself here. It's not an everyday sort of restaurant for me because the menu is extremely limited (not a bad thing), but I can certainly see myself revisiting for another meal.

Soooo good!! We are just finishing dinner now, and even with the limited menu (covid 19) this place is terrific! We're from toronto and found this restaurant on yelp, cancelled a reservation somewhere else and were glad we did! The mac & cheese is crazyyyyy good! Add brisket instead of pork! I had the grilled cheese but it was soooooo good. Try their homemade hot sauce! The service is excellent and I'm so glad we came here!

I'd add a few more stars if I could. While the food is absolutely wonderful it is Sylvia's beautiful energy and hospitality that make Le Robin Square a place i will keep going back to for as long as possible.I had moved to the US for four years and she recognized me almost immediately even though it had been over five years since I had the pleasure of eating at Sylvia's wonderful restaurant. Best mac&cheese on earth... trust me.Can't wait to go back!

Overall Robins Square sores three and a half stars. We were there for very special jubilee and in general they delivered up to the expectation. Service was great, super nice and attentive. The Bloody Caesar is by all means one of the best on town. Many local beers to try from made my friends quite happy. Food wise I was less impressed. Focusing on my own experience the calamari were some what tasteless, ingredients are great but they lacked flavor. I managed to have samples from the Cornish hen, which was yummy and the Seafood Coquille that I did not like very much. The ultimate experience dish was mine and only mine and super delicious, the maple syrup sauce is to die for. We ordered many desserts and they were all super delicious so I can clearly state that overdoing on desserts in Robins Square is not wrong at all. The restaurant has a nice vibe, but for whatever reason they decided to shut down the heating after 9:30 pm and we lost some level of comfort at our window table. Interesting experience that is worth repeating.

Nice little cozy hidden gem. Service is outstanding. Food is very good. Their specialty , the Mac & cheese is amazing. Ambience is so so. The wine selection is rather expensive for what you can get . Verdict : defineatly give it a try.

Wow this place was amazing. It was easily the greatest dining experience of my life as we entered we were greeted immediately and shown to out table where we were explained the whole story of the restaurant and how it is run by one whole family who all do different things. The ambience and the art, which were all original works, was insane. The drinks were amazing. The food was immaculate and the service was incredible. This is a MUST visit while in montreal.
