Nous sommes de Quebec en visite a Montreal et nous avons trouvé cet endroit en faisant une recherche sur internet… belle ambiance l’equipe ultra sympathique et a l ecoute des clients. Pour moi qui ne mange pas de fruit de mer seulement du poisson rare les endroits qui acceptent d’accommoder les clients comme ils l’ont fait avec moi.

Very disappointing experience. The owner might be trying to modernize Japanese kitchen, but they have not succeeded. We ordered ‘tasting menu’ x2. For 53 dollars each it is not a good value for money. We didn’t feel the ‘fish’ in the sushi at all and felt like eating rice mostly mainly mixed with some sauces as most of the time the fish was mashed and it was a continuation of mashed stuff.Most of the time, we didn’t know what we were eating as each sushi had many ingredients . If you have low sushi standards by all means this place could pass. Yet the starter was good. At first glance the resto looked very nice and the waiter was friendly, but at the end of the day it is the food that dictates how good a resto is and the food was not impressive. We eventually passed on our comments and the waiter heard us but nothing positive came out of it. At the end of the day the place seems to focus more on looks, trying new recipes, presentation, being original and modern rather then being simply good.

Love this place! Delicious food and amazing hospitality (shout out to Chico, love him). We will definitely be coming back because this place had it all. I took my wife there for her 30th birthday. She said:Exceptional restaurant with an intimate ambience, phenomenal service, and some of the best sushi I've had in Canada.We recommend the sashimi with julienned apple AND the Christmas Tree. I don't understand the positive reviews already that it's expensive but then the quality of the salmon is sad... the avocado was black and the salmon had no taste (I tried a sushi pizza) the appearance of the presentation wasn't that but really the salmon mixed and stacked in a pile I've never seen that it's the first time in my life that I haven't finished my plate especially at $27 ?Otherwise the servers are nice but worst restaurant experience in Montreal you have to be honest sorry ?♀️

Yesterday I visited this sushi restaurant with friends and unfortunately the experience was far from satisfactory. From the start, the lack of wine glasses was a surprising negative, and being offered water glasses for our wine only added to our disappointment.The lack of freshness of the ingredients seriously compromised the quality of the dishes. The avocado used in sushi and sushi pizza was far from fresh, showing unappetizing brown spots. As for the sushi pizza, it was frankly unpleasant. Far from being a delicate salmon tartare, the fish appeared to have been roughly put through a blender, which ruined the experience.The rice, a crucial element in preparing sushi, was overcooked and the sushi was poorly shaped. Additionally, the salmon sashimi that topped my sushi was excessively fatty and frankly inedible.In addition to these problems, the atmosphere of the restaurant was unpleasant. It was too noisy with loud music, making it difficult to have any conversation between us. And to top it all off, the meal was extremely expensive for the quality offered.All in all, it was a very disappointing and expensive experience. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a quality sushi dining experience.
