The coffee was so sweet I returned it. The second one was also sweet and I also returned it. I lost ~6$. The place smells really moldy. I can see some ceiling tiles in the kitchen soaked from a previous water infiltration. All floors are filthy. Windows are dirty. Fridge top is dusty.

I had a Salmon PokeBoll (very good, I would have put less parconte salad and more rice. The Wakame salad is really good!!!)And a Lychee and Melondeau Bubbletea, I usually don't like it but I took it anyway and drank it all up! Thanks a lot! :)

I love the food at Santasie, I always order a banh mi and I once ordered a poke, it was so savoury. Their food is fresh and so good, the service is excellent and it is budget friendly. The space is very small, there might be space for 4 people to sit but I definitely recommend to order from there!

I ordered the grilled sausage banh mi and got fresh flavours, good amount of sauce and they ask you if you want it spicy or not, perfect size and price and very good service!I will be coming back to try their brown sugar bubble tea that looks bomb and their other banh mi!

I love their poke bowl. Ingredients are fresh and portion is healthy. The staffs are friendly and made my friends and I feel welcome. I will definitely go back.

Poke places are now becoming yesterdays sushi places; meaning they are pretty much around every other corner; but as with sushi some are barely passable while others are notable. I was very pleased to find this one more the later. I had a good feeling when I saw their logo, concept and marketing looked pretty bright, fresh and clean --- not as cheesy or just plain, plain. What I really liked is that they have more-or-less four focuses on the menu; banh mi sandwiches, bubble tea (fruit and milk teas), Poke (tartares) and spring rolls. My friend and I tried three of the four on one late afternoon visit to their small but mighty upstairs shop. The results of which were above average in presentation or taste. Let's go through them one-by-one. First the traditional banh mi was excellent. The roll was not too soft, nor too hard, nor too crumbly --- call it the goldilocks of buns and the fillings were not too rich, greasy or al dente and married tastes well for a good bite to the last. Two things, I did note were there were some unchewable ends of one filling, and come to think of it I don't recall a noticeable amount of cilantro which to me brightens up the whole package. Still I ate it up until gone. This item was well priced for value. The second of the food items was their salmon tartare stack which looked pretty close to the photo; was quite fresh and colorful; but sadly did not have that rich umami thing going on which many memorable tartares do (sometimes to the point of too rich). The tomato was chopped nicely but not ripe enough and was too plentiful. Even though it was decently priced at $15, there could have had a better salmon-to-tomato-to-avocado-ratio. The rice was fine, but not the top notch authentic sushi rice you find at highly skilled Japanese restaurants. Also I would have rather seen more of everything else and skipped the two crostinis which were not toasted (simply sliced baguette). This menu item was the biggest disappointment and easily the weakest link of the three. To wash it down we both got their $7 (a decent size but, still a bit expensive in my opinion, but sadly par for the course these days) brown sugar milk tea. It was well balanced, not too sweet and with plenty of boba balls. I did notice that the brown sugar syrup did not dissolve all the way without me scraping the excess off the sides of the cup; a somewhat minor, yet obvious imperfection. Overall, this cute shop with one table, two seats and a window front counter, was perfect for what we needed --- a light late lunch that was fairly healthy. On some levels it was only a three, but the ladies behind the counter were hard working and pleasant. Plus, it was quite clean and all was made freshly.

Ordered sushi platter and chicken bahn mi.The avacado wasn't ripe in all my rolls, so was hard and had an off taste. Had no flavor, even tasted the soy sauce because i tasted no seasoning at all.. The cucumbers had too much skin left on, so tasted waxy. Too much rice/vs inside.Bahn mi could have had more toppings but was good overall for the price and the roll was good.Really wanted them to be good, the staff were friendly.

I tried other poke bowls in the neighborhood and honestly this one disappointed me quite a lot. I took the « délice du chef » poke, which in theory should've had tempura lobster, but in the end there was no tempura only lobster. Also, I suppose this was done for esthetic purposes but the shell of the lobster was left in the bowl, taking up a good portion of what could have been more food for the price the poke was to be honest. Oh and on top of everything I asked for milk tea and they gave me fresh tea. I'm only giving a 2 star because the bubble tea was actually good, but besides that not impressed at all.If you want a good quality/price poke bowl in the area, I highly suggest going to Chez Lee at the corner of Queen-Mary and Côte-des-neiges.

(Translated by Google) I could not be served in French. I was greeted in English and tried to speak French several times before giving up because despite this, the employee always answered me in English. I understand very well that not everyone speaks French here, but for a well-established business, the minimum is still to know how to say "hello, thank you, goodbye" and to know how to talk about its menu in French. Mauvaise impression.
