Completely shocked at my first visit to Santos yesterday evening. I waswith my partner and we stopped by for a couple drinks as the atmosphere of course was 10/10.I bought a couple drinks and was then told I had to pay a tip or the cost of drinks will come out of the bartenders salary to which I was completely surprised as the employee continued to mention the fact I wasn’t a local due to my accent was the reason I was unaware of this cost.The fact I hadn’t finished my drink before this interrogation began was my reason for this review as I had full intentions to spend the night but was rudely disrupted.

Every time I go to Santos, it's a new story and I will try to weigh my words. Disgusting toilets even in the early evening. I never thought I would have to remortgage myself for a simple vodka soda. Angry manager who yells at employees in front of customers. The only positive point: the music and the kindness of the employees. However, this will never compensate for the lack of rigor the place has. In places I like to go out to, Santos is now at the bottom of my list.
