The bartender was very nice and accommodating. Drinks were very inexpensive and at night on Tuesdays there is an excellent $2.50 promotion.

Nice place, just one comment. The minimum tip in the card machine should be 15 and not 18 %.Tips in Montreal are crazy compared to Europe or other places.Winston Churchill's soul will be upset with the 18%. I'm sure he doesn't love the Montreal tip philosophy. In London I asked to add a tip in a pub, and the waitress said "is not necessary, is noon my friend".Anyway, I liked the pub, great music too! :)

Great outdoor patio for those cold but sunny days. Limited food menu, large beer sizes.

Big pub, and a nice round-the table bar, suitable for going solo or in groups. The down part was that the two (not-busy) barmaids completely ignored me for a good 10-15 minutes, until after 7:05 when the happy hour finished. Apparently happy hour (5-7pm) is when you get two drinks for one! and I didn’t even know that. I wanted to take only one drink and leave! Cause I was meeting friends afterwards for dinner, and I had half an hour to kill, so decided to have a quick drink and discover the place at the same time. The ignorance was discouraging! Even if somebody was there to use the opportunity of the happy hour offer, that was very disrespectful!
