Delicious bagels, top-tier service. Tables were full when we got there but only took a few minutes to get seated. They were checking on the customers waiting customers and the service was very quick. Highly recommendVegetarian options: Multiple vegetarian sandwich options

Not much to add here, after all it is St Viateur Bagel. I would note that it’s incredibly packed during the day so good luck getting a seat or having anything but an incredibly long line that stretched around the building.

Service was good. Bagels were really good. I really liked the BLT sandwich with the all-dressed bagel.Otherwise, worst part about this place is the stupid fact they don't take credit cards... I'm removing a star for that until they change that because of all the hundreds of restos and food shops I've been to in mtl over years I've never seen a big name place not have credit card payments. It's ridiculous.

Not really a fan of the bagels. I'm assuming it's me. It has to be me, right?

This place is viral on social media, so be prepared to wait 20 minutes in the line. Bagels are very delicious, it's worth to try. However, there are other St-Viateur Bagel stores around the city where you can simply buy a regular bagel, if you don’t want to wait for bagel sandwich.

I must’ve gone outside of peak times (around 4pm) because I didn’t have to wait at all to place my order and my bagel came out really fast. Only issue is that, probably because I came outside of peak hours, the bagel didn’t feel very fresh. I ordered Le Coco and the bagel only had mayo on one side as opposed to both, which made it feel more dry. The filling weren’t seasoned well/were lacking flavour or salt so I was a little underwhelmed. The bagel rotation during busy hours probably makes for fresher bagels so, although there’s a longer wait, it’s maybe worth sacrificing time for freshness.Service was nice. They do in fact only take Canadian debit or cash, which was no problem for me but just something to keep in mind.

Canadian bagels are certainly different from American bagels in that they tend to be flatter, but are no worse, no better than the bagels in the US.They treat the bagels as sandwich bread, and the fillings for the sandwiches were interesting though not especially tasty. However, the main problem is how incredibly rude the guy and lady at the cashier are. They definitely do not want nor appreciate business from American tourists.Stay away. For example, they only accept Canadian debit cards and Canadian cash. They are the only business we have encountered where they do not accept tap payment or US credit cards. If you pay with US dollars, they steal 20% for "convenience fee". So for example, an order for 2 bagels and two drinks that should have cost $35 USD actually cost $47 USD because of their fees. The other American clients after us also experienced their rudeness.

Wow crazy good bagels. Fresh out of the wood oven and lots of options. A bit expensive for a small scoop of cream cheese (generic brand made), but the combination of the fresh bagel and cream cheese is unreal. A must try when in Montreal! Remember that this place doesn’t take credit card, debit and cash only.

We had the Le coco bagel and the Breakfast bagel. Expect about a 30-40 min wait if you intend on dining in today. The staff do their best to rush people in and out, but I’m not sure if I recommend going out of your way for it.The prices are slightly steep considering you could get a bagel in NYC for half the price and 10x more flavor. It is cash only!! The surrounding neighborhood is nice for a a stroll after as well.I was slightly disappointed in the coffee too.But glad I got to see if the hype was worth it.

Wow, fantastic place. It was recommended to us by a friend and we're happy we went. We tried the sesame bagel with chive cream cheese which was crunchy with a slight smokey flavour on the outside and a warm chewy inside. Cream cheese was ultra soft and luxurious with good flavour. We also tried the maple bagel with apple cinnamon cream cheese. Both were deadly and delicious. Not to mention the service! Above and beyond!Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible at first, but if you speak to someone inside they will set out a ramp for you. Unfortunately there are no accessible washrooms as they are down a set of stairs, but if you are semi-ambulatory you can get down without too much trouble using the handrail. Super accomodating for chair users and they quickly made space and cleared a table for us.
