I had a very bad experience: I ordered spicy salmon and philadelphia makis. I was served spicy tuna makis instead of salmon. I went to see the cashier/manager to inform her of the error. She refused to substitute tuna for salmon on the grounds that I had ordered "spicy tuna" not spicy salmon and it was a special order. She gave them to the couple who accompanied me. Anyway, I paid $22.39 for 5 pieces of sushi. In addition, she came to our table several times to argue. This person's attitude really makes the experience unpleasant, which is a shame because the sushi is good. After 15 years of ordering there, I will never set foot there again. I felt like I was being robbed.

J’ai eu une très mauvaise expérience: j’ai commandé des makis de saumon épicé et philadelphia. On m’a servi des makis de thon épicé au lieu du saumon. Je suis allée voir la préposée à la caisse/gérante pour lui faire part de l’erreur. Elle a refusé de remplacer le thon par le saumon au motif que j’avais commandé du « spicy tuna » et non du saumon épicé et qu’il s’agissait d’une commande spéciale. Elle les a offert au couple qui m’accompagnait. Bref, j’ai payé 22,39$ pour 5 morceaux de sushi. De plus, elle est venue à plusieurs reprises à notre table pour argumenter. L’attitude de cette personne rend vraiment l’expérience désagréable, ce qui est dommage car les sushis sont bons. Après 15 années à y commander, je n’y remettrai plus jamais les pieds. J’ai eu l’impression de me faire voler.

I've been ordering and dining here for years and never had issues. I always order chirashi for myself and from time to time the 50 pieces for the family and always enjoy it. Disappointed with takeout at this place. Took a 16 piece sushi set and the ginger seemed dried out and the panko filling was soggy as though the sushi has been made the day before.

Food taste is good. Dragon eye less than average. Service is a very poor. Japanese restaurant don’t have sesame sauce. You pay for the spicy sauce! It is a self service restaurant, however they ask for tipping (minimum 15%).

Fresh sushi. Small place. Outside terrace when the weather permits. Plenty of pkg space in the back. Sushi are filled with veggies, could have more protein in them. French fluency fluctuates at the counter. Commerce faces competition from large sushi trays bought by customers at Costco or Walmart.Parking: Pkg on Van Horne or in the pkg lot behind the restaurant

60pieces for $150? It couldn't be.. As I know that 62pieces plate is around $60+Tax.And 75pieces is $75.99+Tax.Very odd..

We ordered the 75 piece platter. We did not get what is described. Most rolls were vegetarian and we asked for fish. Fake crab, no sauces, hard unseasoned rice, tiny rolls, dry wasabi, skimpy on the fish of the ones that did have fish. They just added cucumbers. No variety at all! It was only rice and vegetables for 150$!!! We got no chopsticks either. I do not recommend at all!

Decent sushi, horrible service. I used to come there once a week for about 5 months, but after my last visit- having nonchalant service and attitude- I doubt that I’ll ever come back.It’s a shame, especially in this economy that small businesses like this don’t recognize the importance of service, especially when it concerns returning clients.What a shame.
