I didn't take away any stars but I will mention some very minor criticism.Do not order rice as a side, it was very under seasoned.If you get lobster bisque, have them hold the garnish... its much better velvety naked.PS. Get the garlic cheese toast!!

The place is nice and clean. The service is really good and friendly. They took care of us and one person changed their mind and wanted something else after ordering and they did the change at the last min. Price is good we went for lunch. I would say try not to rush too much as it takes time for lunch under 1h it’s not possible. Parking is a pain but i can’t blame the restaurant for that.Parking: There is some parking around for 90mins that’s paid 15$. Can also park on the streets paid also.

I went to the Keg restaurant today in the afternoon for the first time, the food was really good, but what makes me write this comment is the rudeness of the waiter. The service was average. It was not the best at all and we kept waiting for a long time until he came to take our order and then a long time to bring our order. He was not around all the time and was not the most friendly. However, upon paying, I did not give a tip because I am not satisfied with the service he offered. The shocking thing is that after paying my bill, he looked into the payment machine and noticed that I did not give him a tip. Just imagine, he took the receipt and threw it on the table in my face!!!!!! I’ve never met someone as rude as him and won’t go back if this is the kind of waiters I’ll be seeing :/!! There are so many restaurants with friendly staff I would rather go to. Unfortunately, I was in a hurry and could not look into his name. However, he is a muscular guy, I'm not sure of his name, I think it’s Jessy, that's what was written on our receipt!

Best steak I've had in awhile hands down. Grilled to perfection with just a smidge of salt to bring out the flavor. Top it up with some black pepper and it's excellent. The baked potatoes are great too and complements the steak nicely.Waitstaff was great with their service and recommendations

I question why people come here. For the same price, you can go to steakhouses that are much better(Example: Grinder). This is a chain, and it's not quality. I had the filet mignon with potatoes and vegetables, the potatoes and the vegetables were so dry, clearly it was pre made. The plate they gave me the food in was all dirty. The bread they gave at the beginning was terrible, we couldn't even eat it(I guess I am too used to homemade quality food).The only reason for my 3 stars is for the great service and nice staff!

The Keg has been one of my favorite places for years, but this location is just not the same. Your drink is not even finished and the bartenders always ask if you want another drink. As soon as it’s done, they come back again asking if you want a refill. Then they ask if you want food and then try to upswell your entree with another item. I get it, it’s a business but it’s just become so unpleasant and stressful to go there.Some of us just want to enjoy a nice evening with a friend and chat, not always be interrupted by the overzealous staff. The Laval staff is much more focussed on providing good customer service.

I had a wonderful time last night at this establishment. The meal was excellent and what can I say about our server. Rudy was pleasant, present, efficient and professional. He came to check if everything was okay several times, without interrupting dinner. It's been a long time since I received such good service in a restaurant. I really liked my dish, the prime rib. I recommend it, maybe a little more medium.
