Good service- not great. Had to request more water and another glass of wine after waiting over 30 minutes. We were seated at the bar and it was a fairly busy night but often staff were available and and chatting. Food was very good but not particularly inventive. This may sound picky but the polenta was floury- not creamy or buttery or cheesy . A small detail but noticeable.

Always love it here but was a bit disappointed with the menu this time. Only fish available was salmon and it was good but nothing great (missing that grilled octopus!) There was a problem with one of our diners meals and without hesitation they took it back and quickly gave him something else....and gave us 2 complimentary desserts at the end. Service is always beyond excellent. Will definitely be back.

The food is tasty and well presented but perhaps the portions are a bit small for a man. The focaccia is regular Italian type of bread, not worth the 10$.The 3 desserts were delicious.Should take out a table to create a bit more space along the wall, feels too crowded

Sweet bread was gross! So under cooked and fatty. Waiter kept on reassuring us he knew what he wanted but he clearly didn't. He was also being weird and made us uncomfortable.
Terrible service. Arrogant and bullish maître-d. Had to clear the table by 7:30pm - we were done but wanted to finish a conversation. I asked the waitress if the next table had arrived and she said she didn't think they had but would check. I said, ok let us know when you want us to leave! Instead of coming back to tell us the next table to arrive, the maître-d came and just stood at the end of our table looking at us. We joked and said “are you the bouncer” confused by his presence and lack of communication. He said, “it's time to go” in a gruff, serious way and when we asked if the next table had arrived he said yes, and have been waiting. When we said we didn't know and had asked the waitress who said she didn't think so, he just said nothing and glared at us to leave. Which we immediately did. No “thank you for coming” or “hope you enjoyed the being, apologies for any confusion”. Basically just “get the f&$@ out”. A very cold and unnecessary end to an otherwise nice evening. No desire to go back. Get over yourselves “Tuck Shop” there are plenty other restaurants where the staff have a sense of humanity and customer service. Boo to an institution that could do much, much better.
Unreal, best service and the food was amazing. We had to wait a little for our table, so they kindly brought us wine while we waiting and free dessert/coffee at the end. Very kind and welcoming environment. Highly recommend!!!!

Had a bit of trouble with one of the orders being forgotten, they did their best to make up for it however. Food was good, high quality however I think it was too pricy for the fish.

Wonderful experience from the moment we entered the restaurant. Everyone working was happy and eager to serve. Our warm welcome did not stop after we came in the restaurant. All table servers were attentive and helpful. We were asked how our food was with confidence- everything was excellent Attentive service enhanced our dining experience Water was refilled before needed and plates added and removed as needed. Food was wonderful very unique menu-, beef tartare, brussels sprouts, hanger steak were excellent choices.Sadly we had no room for dessert this time, but can't wait to go back. Parking was easy on the street. Be aware when booking reservations there will be a charge if you don't cancel by 4 pm the day of your reservation.

Was an excellent dining experience with a great ambience. Staff was very enthusiastic and energetic and attentive. Wine and water getting topped off rapidly. Oysters were excellent as were our two fish dishes, Icelandic cod and roasted trout. Great place for a date. Would eat here again!
