If you want real hot chocolate this is not the place, it's made with chocolate syrup and it's super sweet. The girl at the checkout was very stupid and couldn't wait to leave her shift. So no, we won't come back here unfortunately.

Lovely little cafe in North Harley; wish this place existed when I lived there. Excellent coffee, some Veg-friendly food options, lovely chill space to chat, read or get some work done (although power outlets are sparse). Rachel is incredibly friendly and welcoming.

Such a nice little cafe. We arrived around noon, the shop was full. The owner came to greet us and made sure we would have space, explaining to us some people will leave soon. Everyone was very friendly. The service was impeccable and the food was very tasty. Probably the best chai I’ve had around Sherbrooke. Will definitely bring my friends and family around next time. Keep up the good work!

I really enjoyed eating at the Café Mercantille; good value for money; on the other hand, for the service, I had the impression of disturbing the waitress when she used her cell phone; but YES I recommend the coffee :)

Nice ambiance in the middle of North Hatley. I visited North Hatley this past August and ate here with my family. The food was excellent…I had the pasta and my wife and daughter had an amazing gluten free pasta which they highly recommend because gluten free options can be hit or miss.Service was “good” but I gave it 1 star because they double charged my credit card. I called them a few weeks later when I noticed it on my statement. They admitted the mistake and said they would refund me but never did. I called them repeatedly for 2 weeks until the manager “was never in”. I had to open a fraud report with my credit card in order to get my money back. Not cool, as this really soured what was otherwise a great evening.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free
