This restaurant is awful. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. I purchased sushi and half of a poke bowl from them on the 17th of November, 2023 at 5:15 pm. Later that evening at around 9-10 pm I suddenly got violently ill with nausea, vomiting and more. I kept vomiting all night until the next morning at around 8 am. I called the restaurant explaining the situation and the owner told me to come in and he would issue a refund. So I went to the restaurant a few hours later. The owner then said that he wouldn't issue a refund and he said so just to see "what kind of people you are". He started to become more and more aggressive and started to slam his hands on the counter and then told my mother and I that " this is Canada, not India and you should go back to where you come from". I kept explaining that I don't understand why you say such things and he called the police on us. The police came and told him that what he did was an abuse of power and he took advantage of the situation hoping the police would arrest us. The police didn't do so knowing that what the owner did (racial profiling and discrimination). To those who happen to be people of color, I really don't recommend this place unless you'd like for something as such to happen to you.
