The soup was burnt and inedible, the carrots accompanying the meal were made from frozen, not fresh, and the chocolate mousse had an odd texture and strange taste (slight taste of mould?). The takeout meal we ordered wound up mostly in the garbage. This restaurant should be ashamed of serving such food. It's disgraceful.

I ordered this as a treat for a quarantine dinner. Lobster Bisque was so burnt I couldn't eat it. It tasted like charcoal soup. The duck confit included frozen vegetables and the chocolate mousse kind of tasted like it went went bad? Overall, so disappointing! I am not a picky eater and I will eat something even if it's not great, but the dessert and the soup were actually inedible. Luckily the mash potatoes and the duck were alright if you move aside the frozen veggies and sauce that tasted like it came from a can. I will never give them my business again.

Living in Pointe Claire, I like to encourage the restaurants in the village. With that being said, we were extremely disappointed in a few things... The second we walked in, there is a smell of cigarette and then you go upstairs to be seated. Decor is very dated. We chose the lobster bisque and it’s not my first time having a bisque but the colour was off and overcooked instead of a pinkish shade...Then came the salad which was good. As for the mussels, my partner chose the spicy tomato and I chose the cream sauce. When they arrived with the pot and opened the lid, we were surprised to see that the sauce was just dumped on top of the mussels, and the bottom was filled with water. The mussels had no taste and my partner commented on the tomato sauce being cold.....Very disappointing and not worth the money. The $75 bottle of wine we selected was very good because they did not have to make it!

Excellent food and friendly knowledgeable service. Marie-Claude is wonderful. Cream of carrot soup, French onion soup, fried calamari and seafood tartare were all excellent appetizers. Beef carbonnade, 20oz rib steak, turducken and mussels and fries were all a hit. Relaxing cozy dining on a stormy winter's night!

Service was really good and the prices were very fair but the food was a little too refined for our taste. Not a large selection of microbrewery beers as advertised.

We stumbled upon this cute restaurant last summer and have been back a few times since. The staff is really sweet and helpful. We ordered from their table d'hôte menu for 2 people, it was: 2 entrées, soup / salad, one main course, dessert, coffee/tea plus a bottle of wine for $60! All worth it! We enjoyed everything and look forward to trying more from their menu.

Le service à la clientèle est le pire que je n’ai jamais vu. Ne perdez pas votre temps et votre argent dans ce restaurant

I love this place. A good selection of beers and wines and an interesting choice of meals. You can order from the Bistro Lunch menu almost all day or you can go to the more sophisticated main menu. A very European atmosphere and a great way to pass an afternoon or evening with friends or someone special.

Can’t wait to go back! It was our first time eating here and our waitress was welcoming, friendly and very efficient, while our food was absolutely delicious. So happy to have discovered this little gem!

It has been a few years since I've been here. I went today and it exceeded all my expectations. I started with some ceviche that was amazing, bright, fresh and flavourful. I ordered a beer that I had difficulty getting elsewhere (gulden draak), and the venison main was perfectly cooked with these amazing apricots that have the dinner such a great pop of flavour. I can't wait to go back.

This is my second time trying this place and wow am I impressed! I don't know what they did in the last year but the food was even better. We got served really quickly and didn't feel like we were being rushed out the door once we were finished either (unlike some other places in the area...)

Great onion soup and Marie-Claude was very friendly and efficient. Will be back as it’s a great local option!

I tried this place because of Groupon. I loved it!! The onion soup is amazing and the mussels were great. I snuck a few bites of my husband's veal cheek and have no regrets! I was so skeptical to order it myself just because it's not a cut I'm familiar with. Will definitely be back.

We went looking for some moderately priced local cuisine in Pointe Claire and after walking out of the over crowded, chaotic and poorly organized Pasta restaurant just down the street we discovered Comme Chez Soi and the type of comfort food and comfortable atmosphere we were looking for. We choice the 3 course dinner for 2 and really enjoyed the squash soup, green salad starters, poutine canard confit and fish and chips (very lightly battered) mains, chocolate mousse and creme caramel desserts with a jug of Stella Artois and hot tea. And the service was delightful! I highly recommend Comme Chez Soi for a very filling moderately priced meal
