What an amazing and impromptu culinary experience on a rainy Monday night. The staff was the most amazing and the food just as equally marvellous. Thank you for a great experience! We will be back.

Charming rustic looking building. Food, drinks and service were great. We sat outside under the awning. The entire area is heated. It was pretty busy for mid week dinner.

Simply amazing food. Best mushroom soup I ever had, no question about it. Super service. Note that it can get a bit loud but it adds to the warm atmosphere.

Cute French restaurant . Service was a bit slow in the beginning but got better as the evening progressed. We ordered the soup of the day which was a mushroom bisque and the coconut shrimp . Both were okayish. However the main dish seafood gratin was excellent . We then had the brownie for desert which was also good .

Just went there for dinner for the first time today. The service was very attentive and even the owner. I had the Caesar salad to start and the salmon tartar as a main and I have to say it was excellent. It is a nice little restaurant that was built in 1847 with all stone. Also the terrace was nice. I will definitely go back.

When you want something more than average. Food was delicious, service was on point, and someone has put a lot of effort into the terrace!

I don’t typically write reviews, but I felt I had to this time around. This restaurant in an old stone house in Pointe-Claire has charm, but our party was quite disappointed with the food and service, which shouldn’t be the case with the prices being charged here. Several of us ordered veal and we were served absolutely enormous chops that weren’t particularly flavourful. It’s almost as if the chefs were counting on the size of the serving to impress, but no one was even able or interested in finishing their meals. One member of our party ordered medium deer and parts of it were rare. It was returned to the kitchen for extra cooking, but it came back in the same condition. A rather odd aspect of this restaurant was the disappearance of the whole kitchen staff, along with our server at 10pm, leaving a skeleton crew of staff to deal with the remaining customers, of which there were quite a few. I’ve never come across this in a restaurant before. It was extremely odd, and not surprisingly, we were pretty much ignored after this point. Our server had been quite helpful before she left, but suddenly she was gone. The lone server left in our area seemed to be more interested in socializing at individual tables, resulting in us waiting a very long time at our table. Our party, save one, eventually left while I waited at the desk to pay our bill. I stood there for five minutes pointedly staring at him, and frankly we could have left without paying our bill. He eventually tore himself away from his conversation and let me pay, but when I mentioned we’d been waiting quite awhile for our bill, he said he hadn’t noticed. Really? Rather strange considering we were clearly in view and only ten feet away. Our visit was at the tail end of a two-week road trip through Eastern Canada, so by this time we’d eaten in plenty of nice places. We’d had finer meals with better service and paid considerably less than our final tally here. So, we won’t be back.
