I've been to this shop twice, attracted by their delicious desserts. However, despite the tempting treats, the staff's attitude is unpleasant and the customer service is subpar. I won't be returning. Some of the stuff are super racist.

I've only just discovered this place - but what a find...the apricot and blueberry tarts I ordered were phenomenal.the tandoori chicken i took a chance at ordering off the "precooked counter" was wonderful - and I know tandoori, having tasted the best in India, the gulf, UK, Toronto, all things Indian let's just say :)and the service, was outstanding enough for me to take the time out of my schedule to say - thank you! in a world where I find great customer service a rare commodity, I am super grateful for when I am graced with it.My HUGE request - take a risk and add some gluten-free fresh pie options .. there are enough of us in the buyer market where you will happily sell off your baked inventorya big LIKE

Have been very disappointed with the poppy and walnut strudel in the last couple of years. Hardly no filling in them. Will try again next Christmas, hoping that they will be better. If not, I'm going elsewhere.

I liked the place because of the cookies and slide cakes. Customer service was not always bad. It has been a while I did’t go because of pandemic . I understand it is hard time for everyone but this lady I met last week who is way too far. I never met any person who works in a store as cashier or sales staff in Canada like this. No patience, harsh words, bad altitude. Be respectful and professional regardless of clients age, race, whatever. I can’t go back to the place anymore because I am scared to meet her again. She ruined my mood whole day. My kid was there who asked me why she treated u like that because you paid to slow or what ? People who lacks of money still have right buy food. In the end, did we pay you ? Yes.

We ordered a cake for my daughert's birthday two weeks ago. Today in the morning, Maggie from Swiss Vienna called saying that she forgot to order it to the kitchen :@ the birth is is today in the afternoon!! This is not acceptable to call last minute saying that there is no cake. This is irresponsible and the reputation of this place for me went down. Never going back again to Swiss Vienna!!
Came by on a Friday around 4:45pm to pick up carrot cake. They were rushing to close the store and I felt like no one wanted to serve me. Finally after a few minutes somebody came. Some of the desserts looked like a toddler had made them, not very appetizing.When I went to the cash to pay, a lady gave them a compliment to say that the apple strudel was the best she’s ever had, the cashiers response ‘did you pay for the second loaf?’.Another situation, client calls to ask if they can stay open so she can come pick up a special cake order, they said no because they were closing (it was 4:56pm, so i totally understand since they close at 5), however the bad mouthing that occurred right after they hung up from the staff is a little ridiculous. At least wait until I leave? It was my first time there and maybe last. The store looks really old with crumbs everywhere.Carrot cake was delicious but not worth going out of my way for it.

I'm 50 years old and spent lots of time here as a kid. My mother and grandparents got most of their groceries here. (They came to Canada from Germany in 1953) I now get to come here for my rye bread, liverwurst and/or teawurst every week. Great staff, and great products! Love it.

This is my favourite place for baked goods in the west island. I always come for a few loaves of bread and some desserts. The people are super nice and always helpful. I tried the sandwiches the other day, they were great and reasonably priced!
