First of all, the service is very good but big problem overall. What a shame to be called “au petit coin breton” when the crepes are VERY far from being Breton. No Breton cider, and so-called buckwheat pancakes. Our dishes were stuffed with cheese to the point that we were no longer hungry for dessert but rather felt nauseous, we would have to review the sales strategy.Very disappointed with this restaurant which calls itself Breton.

First time we had breakfast here in this cozy but warm place. The waitresses greeted us and sat us at a table. We ordered a Strawberry with chocolate crepe and I had a Classic with 2 eggs, bacon(huge pile) & 3 sausages & a small crepe. It was delicious even after we found out the Strawberry crepe being a banana one lol...all it came with unlimited coffee, tea or chocolate milk...and that for just $40 bucks..(sausage was extra charge)It was well worth every penny...so people go enjoy a good breakfast at this cozy restaurant in Old Quebec!!

Food was ok but nothing to write home about. Service was very slow and disappointing. After we were seated. We had to wait a long time for our order to be taken and the food to be served. The restaurant was only half filled when we were there. When the food came we asked for extra napkins but nothing came. Our coffee cups were empty for the majority of our breakfast. We had to flag down another server get us extra napkins, ketchup and a single refill on our coffee. After we were finished the server was VERY fast to get the bill for us. It was the only time we had fast service.

Nice little discovery in Old Quebec. A small, welcoming restaurant where you can meet as many tourists as regulars. The decor, the service and the set up (the cooks who prepare our dishes are in full view) make this place a place with a familiar feeling. What can I say about the food, delicious! Dishes with mixed tastes of crepes and sugar shacks.

I ordered a caramelized apple crepe, and I got a pear crepe with pears taken out of the syrup can...Overcooked pancakes for my parents, and a cider without bubbles....Dining room a little sad...1 point less for Brittany

Cute little place. Food is ok, would be nice if they had more non-dairy/vegan options.

politicalappointment

Stumbled in here on a very cold morning. Although I'm certain that English could be spoken, I decided to make all suffer through my horrible French. I got everything I ordered, plus coffee, which I didn't THINK I ordered, (because I really don't like coffee). Turns out I DO like it, when it's done well. It would be a great end to the review if that was the highlight of the visit, but the food (eggs, sausage, toast, boring choices, I know) was absolutely stellar, and the service was one of many high points of our visit. An absolute don't miss stop!
