Arriving there, I ask the person at the cash register if it is possible to have a simple poutine but with chipotle sauce to try it. The person goes behind and asks. The cook replies that yes, the team leader quickly says no. The person comes back and tells me that it's not possible. So I have a poutine with bbq sauce. During preparation, the cook informs the team leader that the bbq sauce is too liquid "it looks like water". The chief tells him that it doesn't matter. The person who comes to give me my poutine realizes that something is wrong with the poutine and informs the cook and the chef responds that everything is fine and to take out the poutine. In short, every time I go to see this team leader on duty, I will go elsewhere.

Amazing service from the team leader and his kitchen I loved and devoured my poutine from this Ashton branch, thank you very much and congratulations for exceeding my expectations with due respect to you for waiting for me the puck. Ashton's poutine is a must in Quebec and the service that comes with it also is, there is no better combination. The food here is always great. However, I went here today and said hello to the male manager who was at the cash register. He pointed to the female worker who was approaching and didn’t say a word to me. I left.

Monday September 11, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. at Ashton Place Sainte-Foy. On the menu: Hot Hamburger Plate, and when you order "hot", you expect it to be "hot", but I received a plate with very lukewarm and rubbery fries and the sauce and the burger bun was also very very lukewarm. It has been much better in the past but this time it was PITTABLE. No excuses Ashton! This “gastronomy” has been your raison d’être for long enough for you to know how to make it impeccable every time.

The cook wanted to charge extra for a free sauce in every Ashton; the mini Poutine being at $10 and very dry…I insisted on having this sauce for free and in the end I was given the wrong sauce ? I guess it's a coincidence ? I recommend avoiding this place for the poor service of the cooks. The employees at the front are very nice though.

I don't understand why every time I ask for my RAW expo mix on my deluxe plate, I get an EXTRA EXPO MIX for $1 more... I don't want it + I just don't want it cooked... too hard to understand? And I'm not talking about the + sauce except that it's not even half the container... Anyway, the Ashton isn't what it was when I worked there. It's sad though.

Great staff and able to help us non-French speaking west coasters with minimal French. This was my first time trying Poutine as I love fries and hate to one up them for my health ;0). I am happy to say I do not like it although my husband begs to differ.I am not a fan of the squeaky cheese nor of too much gravy on my fries - I will stick to good ole vinegar and ketchup! My husband on the other hand really enjoyed his and my son liked his roast beef sandwich!The staff were super friendly and the location very clean
