After hearing so many good comments about the Kaiji, we decided to try it. We went there on a Friday evening to celebrate my partner's birthday. We were very disappointed with our experience.Although the server was friendly, the quality of service left something to be desired. We waited an hour to get our entry. Another hour passed before the waiter came back to apologize for the delay. No one had come back before to offer us something else to drink while we waited.Our patience and our hunger had a limit. We left the restaurant hungry after spending two hours waiting for sushi that never arrived.We are aware that there may be some waits in restaurants, especially on weekends. But the least they can do in a situation like this is that the waiters make sure to go to all the customers to mention it to them. Even better, offer them a little something to eat or drink to help them wait and apologize for the delay.Although we are big sushi fans and Kaiji seemed like a great place to have a culinary experience, we won't be going back there again.

Great food, taste and presentation alike, however it is quite pricey for the overall worth. The main court's ambiance sort of overlaps with the restaurant such that there's mostly chatter, and some residual music from the court, but no real ambiance proper to the restaurant. That being said, being seated at the bar, seeing the employees prepare the plates and being able to interact with them all make for a good experience overall.Highly recommend looking at their promotions on the main website. This makes it worth trying for sure.

Simply exceptional for what is offered in Quebec in terms of Japanese cuisine. Izakaya and Sushis are a marvel. Thank you so much to the whole team!! It's pure pleasure every time.Parking: Free underground parking for 3 hours if you are a customer. Otherwise, easy in the surrounding streets in the evening.

Very good sushi, I took the 5 course menu, which must be taken at least 2 times. Everything was very good, even the soy sauce! In addition, I was able to taste 6 different sakes.
Wow..we had 4 starters and 2 types of sushi and everything was EXCELLENT. Very tasty dishes. Also accommodating they made shrimp nigiri for my boy which was not on the menu. Excellent service also nothing negative to say perfect evening..I recommend without hesitation. THANKS!
