We had a lovely evening at the Saint-Alexandre pub. The food is decent and a little expensive for what it is. But we mainly come here for the atmosphere. Live music, good beer, pure Irish pub atmosphere and truly typical decor.

Great place, fun vibe, great service and delicious food. Tons of different beers on tap.We had the French Onion Soup, Black Velvet Burger, Fish n Chips and Croque Monsieur....everything was really good, but the Croque Monsieur wasn't quite what we expected (more of a ham bruschetta).

Can we leave lower than 1 star for service???Got there, no wait for a table. Got sat. And the waiting started. It is a pub. How can you leave customers without a drink?10 minutes later we get drinks. Brought by the bartender. Not the waitress.And we wait again. 15 minutes later, had to wave the hostess to ask for service. She got the waitress. She goes to the next table. Not usHostess tells her. She still ignores her. And us. Finally she gets to our table (never saw someone in the industry moves so slow) and asks if we are ready to order. We were when she first came for the drinks since we waited so long. Let her know we had been ready for a long timeHer answer? Well I am here now. The expensive plate I was going to order was changed for the cheapest thing on the menuNo way with that kind of service, I am spending a cent more than needed. At this point I want the person I am with to eat what they came in for, eat the cheapest thing and leave the hell out of here and never come back.
