What a bad experience this evening in Tokyo. I have been a loyal customer for over 20 years, and this would never happen. My partner and I each order a teriyaki beef dish and a gyoka starter.First disappointment, the dishes arrive before the starters, mistakes happen, I am understanding. I mention it to the waitress, who tells me I'll bring them to you right away. I give her my plate back, telling her that I want my starter first, and that she will have to refill my plate in due time.10 minutes later, second disappointment, I haven't yet finished my starter, she brings me the same plate, now cold and the meat soft and recooked. Cold rice and gyoza too. You know, the dish that spent 10 minutes on the end of the counter...arkkk it's still beef. I kindly ask the waitress to refill my plates, in order to eat hot and fresh. She tells me that they are not the same plates, the cook would have redone them..hummmm I have my doubts, but hey I have time, the evening is young, just redoing my plates I would have been more than happy .Third disappointment the SAME plates come back, the same meat was returned to the grill a third time, the rice still cold, my rare meat rendered dry and not edible. When we got there, it was bad faith on the part of the cook. I don't understand why we serve this to customers who spend money in your restaurant. Life is expensive, and when you want to treat yourself, Ben you choose your place. Tokyo has always been one of my favorite restaurants, I have celebrated many birthdays there, I have gone there with a group, with family...what a beautiful place.Disappointed, more than disappointed, a change of ownership which leaves a chill on my appetite for Tokyo.I wish Martha and her family a happy retirement, it is well deserved.I'll have to find another favorite restaurant.

I really love the combination plates.Since the change of ownership we can no longer make changes or specific requests, only if we have an allergy.I think it's expensive, but at least it's good. Take out your wallet.Kid-friendliness: Not very suitable for babies.

A lovely romantic evening at the sushi bar. The atmosphere and service were impeccable. Our server was quick and courteous! We ate well, we fell in love with the makis and hosomakis. However, the fried makis disappointed us (too dry). Overall, we had a very nice evening

I expected a lot and I am very disappointed, in my opinion, with sushi restaurants that serve pollock…. It's very good. $50 for pollock sushi, breaded shrimp and 1 salmon :/ the quantity of rice in relation to the fish is extremely

We had reserved at 8 p.m. for 12 people for my party, when we arrived, we were told there would be a minimum wait of 30 minutes. There is not enough room to wait inside. We ask why you didn't call us. The very unfriendly waitress told us that they did it but that we didn't give the right number. However, during the day we received a text message to confirm our reservation, surprising! Finally we see our reservation on his system and it is the right number. We leave after 15 minutes because it is unbearable 12 people, with my 85 year old grandmother, in the entrance. They call us after 50 minutes to find out if we are honoring our reservation! Great nerve! We can understand the delay, but putting the blame on us by lying about the fact that they had warned us doesn't work.Disrespectful

Irrespectueux
