The cashier is super nice, she explains the difference between the different items on the menu. The wait is quick for rush hour on a Saturday. The kitchen staff is very courteous and friendly. The beef is excellent for the standard at Laurier.I recommend it without hesitation .

We have rarely eaten smoked meat as succulent as the one at Place Laurier in Quebec. The service is excellent, courteous and cleanly kept. Unrivaled quality and price. We will definitely return and I recommend it to everyone?!!

We usually go to the rock n deli of the galleries in the capital but for some commissions we came to Place laurier to have lunch at this restaurant. We asked to have lunch and just by mentioning that my eggs I took them only with white I was "stared" by whoever seems to be the manager or the senior employee. They mixed the egg yolks into my spouse's eggs. The bacon was almost undercooked. The senior employee was very mean to his employee who seems new. He told him to settle down that he was in his legs and with each question he asked the senior employee he looked at him with a look of "what are you for?". Our breads were barely toast and tasted a lot of butter despite the jams. The employee did not even seem to know the basic instructions on how the tools in his environment should be used. He didn't even ask us what drinks my spouse wanted to say when paying with a coffee, please. I arrived to ask for a bottle of juice but the senior employee wasn't listening. I went to Subway to get my drink. Very bad service I do not recommend it

We went there Thursday May 18 for dinner, we wondered why there was no line, compared to the other restaurants next door, we had our answer... The one who was at the cash desk, (no hair ) was silly, and haughty, we felt like we were bothering him, it's 11:55...my friend ordered a wrap, he was told there was a chicken wrap left, that's not it he wanted, he asked the guy if he was making more, the cashier told him no, there's one left for chicken...(it's not even noon yet) or nothing... As for the food, we don't know because obviously the cashier didn't want us to eat there. There were three of us, we didn't order anything and will never go back to rock and deli.

Smock meat on the mark, nothing to complain about but it's been 2 times that we've been there and the poutine sauce is cold and the pogo's are undercooked....
