I don't understand the chilaquiles: it's the only dish they serve with chicken instead of pork, and it's served in a kind of liquid soup and covered in thick cheese (like 1cm thick), neither of which I want. Why make the delicious tortilla chips into a soggy mess? The chips were limp in my fork. Just chicken or beef with tortilla chips would be delicious, but served in a soup like this makes it inedible for me.

This is the perfect place that will definitely remind you of your last trip to Mexico. The prices are slightly high, the decor and ambiance could be improved, but this is more than offset by the taste of the food and the warm welcome. The tacos, sauces and pico de gallo, everything was excellent! So popular that the wait can be long, but I’ll definitely be going back soon!

I'm going to break the magic of this bunch of 5*s.I went to dinner Friday with my daughter. First experience. The restaurant doesn't look like much with its furniture which is in dire need of being replaced. It’s old and let’s not be afraid of words, outdated and shaky. I think we could remove this old plexiglass between the kitchen/cashier and the dining room.5:30 p.m., 2 customers already served are on site. 3 regulars/family/friends who do not consume, sitting at the back of the restaurant who sometimes go back and forth between the dining room and the kitchen. The atmosphere is provided by a television hung on the wall whose particularly loud sound transmits the image of the new TVA channel. ?. We'll come back for the background music. When ordering, the absence of a photo/menu with images and description and the language barrier and plexiglass prevents me from understanding what I am told, making me choose a bit at random. The service, given that there were only two of us ordering, seemed a little long and the fact of receiving our two dishes 5-7 minutes apart bothered me. I remind you that there are only two of us waiting for our order. The food...the pork tacos are okay. Enough quantity 5, but the sides...4 ounces of homemade salsa and 3 tiny mini cups of sauce. Nothing else and served in small paper cups. It feels…cheap. And a plate of Chicken Chilaquiles. Personally, never again. A kind of hot oatmeal of tostitos tortilla chips in a bland and tasteless sauce with shredded chicken topped with avocado and au gratin. Not bad but I don't understand why we would serve this for a dinner meal. It's tasteless, questionable in texture, soggy and tasteless. Uninteresting. Is it always and planned like this? Maybe I didn't know this dish. All this took 15/20 minutes to be served to us. Frankly, looking at the plate and the presentation I would say that it can be done in 1 minute. Served in a plastic cabaret, paper placemat in a restaurant with basic/non-existent decoration other than a flag of Mexico hanging on the wall and a few plants placed on pieces of wooden floor serving as shelves on the wall.Price, $18.99 for 5 tacos, $13.99 small portion of Chilaquiles. 2 cokes. $42 taxes included. Will I go back? No. Will I recommend it? No. I can very easily make again at home what was served to me. That said, if you like corn tortillas, they are beautiful, good and soft. Better than the ones I make at home.I followed Allison Van Rassell's rave column...in the future I will weigh my expectations.

I'm Mexican, I grew up with tacos. I have tried them in many states of Mexico. These tacos are not bad, the meat tastes good, but the waiting time was +50 minutes, and there were only three people there before. They didn't even offer us drinks to start. The point of tacos is that they are quick to prepare.I asked for lemons, since they only give you 1 for 5 tacos al pastor, and we had to ask for them again, since after 4 minutes, they couldn't give them to us. They only gave us 1 more lemon. It leaves a lot to be desired, and I can even say that among Mexicans, I felt discriminated against because Canadian residents were treated much better.Good flavor, handmade tortillas and small portion, tacos without onion or cilantro.
