This brewery is a "diamond in the rough". Spectacular craft beer is being made in this nondescript industrial park in St-Bruno. The brewer, Martin, has always been a brewer-artist. To drink his beer is to have an experience. Each one is unique in its own right. I drank Nocturna Fazenda Barreiro from the can last night. It's a Stout. But there is no other Stout like it anywhere. I didn't go to the store, but a small convenience store at the corner of DeLorimier/Joséphine, Longueuil is a gem of beers of all kinds. I am currently drinking a Nocturna Affogato which is delicious! For a 10% "dessert" type beer, I expected a heavy, sugary drink, which I like on occasion. But the taste is light and aromatic, with a slight bitterness offset wonderfully by a discreet sweetness.
