Extra ordinary experience this evening. Pleasantly surprised, ultra fast service from the manager to place us at our table, a surprising courtesy. We were lucky enough to meet Charlotte our waitress for the evening who was able to show us everything and explain each piece of meat. Barely a few minutes after ordering we were already served! Faster than a drive-thru at McDonald’s! The food was perfect! Impeccable cooking, exceptional taste and everything was very hot. (Beef cheek and flank steak) we took a coconut shrimp starter, and strangely it tasted like beaver tails, but it was deliciously surprising! All served with a smile and professionalism. The manager Alain even came to speak to us after the meal, which I found greatly appreciated. We will return there as often as possible. The only thing I find unfortunate is not having known this place sooner. Thank you all.

I feel bad describing my experience as a disappointing evening, but the reviews are there for improvement.So, I didn't like my last visit to Boeuf Cochon and the penultimate one.The famous expression 《never two without three》 was put into practice, since the first time a little over a year ago it was delicious, the portions were very generous and very tasty except for the last two times.This summer I had the shrimp macaroni which cost me too much, which was recommended to me as the best pasta they cooked here. I had the shrimp pasta dish, and it was both extremely salty and bland. 3 large shrimps with perhaps a dozen overcooked miniatures, a white sauce that is too liquid and slightly raw pasta. A macaroni that isn't macaroni, plus a macaroni that doesn't taste like cheese at all, I was disappointed.I said to myself 《It doesn't matter, bad batches happen and I'm just not lucky, and what possessed me to take pasta at the restaurant, frankly》 So I took the blame and I just had doubts, except that at $33 without taxes for the small bowl which really didn't taste like $33 macaroni, I was angry and disgusted.It was after February 14 for Valentine's Day with my partner that we returned there. Thank goodness the ambiance was better than the last few times, but why serve food that costs too much for the customer's minimal eating experience? The fried squid, fatty and oily, also very bland that you need to eat the sauce on the side for it to be good.At least the squid wasn't rubbery, so bravo!Then we ordered a porterhouse steak to share because we were told that they usually put so many fries and vegetables in the kitchen that we'll have enough.Guess what ? Obviously not.So, reduced portion but it's OK, we're happy until we eat the vegetables which literally taste like 2x4. I guess that was all that was needed to fuel the fire in the kitchen, but cheers for the 5 vegetables that taste like the 2x4 board I use for home renovations.The fries were good with their Cheetos aftertaste, the same seasonings are used in almost all restaurants so nothing original, but it's the only thing I had pleasure in eating.Then the steak, it was correct, it was juicy, with Montreal steak spices like you buy on the shelves in the store.Then comes the dessert which comes to the rescue of the evening. I'll cut the fun right away, I was still disappointed that the other restaurants were closed to save my sweet tooth.I don't know what the thrill is of putting the smallest dessert at $11 that tastes industrial that I could buy at the IGA, but it's not strong.Even in CHSLD the desserts are homemade. I can't believe the $167 bill for an unpleasant experience which will never be repeated at Boeuf Cochon and which also destroyed the fun of the restaurant on Valentine's Day.In addition the waitress was not able to explain the desserts to us, she tried to make a money grab to give us a thicker slice of steak without warning us that it cost more.In short, if you want to have a restaurant experience that seems fancy, and then spend as much to have the impression of eating well, go there, but for those who have a more developed palate and a desire to like what they eat , go away.Don't serve food in which your cooks are not "expert" or the recipes are "low end" because you will make even more disappointed customers.Boeuf Cochon deserves to improve.Hoping that it will eventually no longer be a regrettable experience eating at your place.PepitosVegetarian options: Very few vegetarian options, at the same time it's a steak barParking: Little space near the restaurant, we had to park at the hotel next doorKid-friendliness: It's not really a restaurant for children in my opinion, the atmosphere is more adult.Wheelchair accessibility: Too narrow in my opinion, I'm glad I'm not in a wheelchair.

We went Sunday February 18th snow day and I am in a wheelchair. The manager Alain had cleared the snow from the access ramp just before our arrival and even some time before our departure. This is a service that I haven't seen elsewhere yet. Warm welcome. Excellent food. Attentive services.If I go back to Saint-Jérome, I will definitely eat at Bœuf Cochon.Wheelchair accessibility: Access ramp easy to use but a bit narrow. Parking is right next door.

Very good beef, but a little on high side of price with no sides. Good service. Update: Owner responded to my review that every meal came with vegetables and potatoes, but the $200 lobster, shrimp, and meat platter we ordered did not. The picture I posted was the meal and the meat was good. So, my comment stands and I reduced my review to 3 stars for not knowing their own menu. Food arrived cold too, so sent back to reheat
