A pair of dumbbells in Saint-Lambert. In theory, they were in Longueuil, but I wanted to preserve the alliteration. So it was a pair of dumbbells from a discount fitness equipment store that sent me across the river. As long as you're in the area, you might as well take the opportunity to explore the city's culinary offerings, eh! I had recently read an article which presented Café Pistache as an “institution”, so, after collecting my package, I headed to Victoria, then to Elm. There, opposite the café, in the Village Park, a “sugar shack” activity organized by the municipality was in full swing, with many children proudly brandishing their maple taffy, others engaging in ax throwing. … in plastic, for the most virile.Café Pistache, for its part, contained a very different ecosystem, populated mainly by young university students, some with their eyes glued to their laptops, others serving coffee. The temperate climate, the large spaces, the sober decor provided an environment conducive to their settling down. Not to mention, of course, the fact that they serve good drinks that revitalize numb neurons. I needed a boost too. I had a latte decorated with an elegantly off-center leaf, served in a red cup.As for the kitchen, due to limited space, we offer a simple menu featuring classics: grilled cheese sandwiches, avocado toast, a breakfast sandwich and a healthy bowl. The young barista, sporting flamboyant blonde hair, extols to me the merits of her last two choices. True to my penchant for recommendations, I make them my meal. Neat presentation, sufficient portions compared to the cost ($10 for the first, $17 for the second with the addition of chicken), but average taste. A menu, in my opinion, especially designed to satisfy a possible small craving. Now that I think about it, there was nothing with pistachio… Strange!I give a special mention to the local for the diligent and attentive service which makes the overall experience even more pleasant. On the other hand, I give a "deplorable" rating to customers who leave napkins lying around on the tables and the floor... Come on, get your act together. In conclusion, Café Pistache (without pistachios), more than just a caffeine dispenser, is a place where you can relax, study/work and converse, in the heart of Saint-Lambert. Note if you are in the area!Vegetarian options: Yes, including the meal bowl.Dietary restrictions: Choice of oat milk.Parking: Today there was an event at the park, so it was harder, but not much.Kid-friendliness: Yes. Children's chair availableWheelchair accessibility: With someone to push you.

Pleasant service. Small neighborhood café with a warm atmosphere although very little space. Good price and good selection.

Often crowded in the morning but nice staff and good food, although a little more expensive for some things. I love the neighborhood atmosphere and it’s pretty!

Nice little coffee. The espresso is excellent and the pastries are delicious. The blueberry scone is probably the best I've eaten. The service and atmosphere are warm.

First of all, it's messy. Even the cups don't seem to be washed. A restaurant with no basics. I went twice and it happened both times. The store has a trendy design, and there are a lot of people there, probably because they don't have time to go there. The coffee tastes good and the bread is good, but honestly, it feels like the coffee is served in someone else's cup. One star is still not bad for the coffee.
Super friendly and approachable (the place and the people). Perfect for a solo coffee (snack) to read, work or meet someone. Ps. Delicious pistachio chocolatine! (Simple lunch menu available)

Amazing coffee! The best mocaccino in the south shore!
