Stopped at the Halte Nautique in Belleville and chanced upon this lovely local restaurant a mere 3 kms away. Everything about this place is correct....a simple menu but prepared freshly and presented nicely. The chef deserves his Bib Gourmand Michelin rating. Service was charming, welcoming and friendly throughout from both staff and owner despite what previous reviewers have commented -We found everyone delightful. Prices are very reasonable and good value as is the extensive wine list which makes for a pleasant surprise in Burgundy. Lots of good Beaujolais choices on offer.

I have been here for years and have seen it go through some changes. It's a restaurant in an industrial area, so you will see office workers alongside truckers and warehouse workers eating together. It's that kind of vibe. I personally like that vibe.The food is pretty good for the reasonable price you pay. I'd rather spend my $15 here than at McDonald's.The atmosphere is clean but not exciting as well. Perhaps adding some decor and color can brighten up the place. Eating in pleasant surroundings makes the meal more enjoyable I believe, though that won't stop me from going there either. It's just my opinion.
