Love the carrots cake. I was there at 11h00 when it opened. 15 min later it was packed. Saw neighbors. Service is a little slow but we'll worth it. Only 3 or 4 employees, very polite and courteous. Café au lait excellent.
More cafes like Café Twigs are needed! Far superior experience than Starbucks, et al.The coffee — the most important — was on point, as was the food. Prices were reasonable (a 32 oz. of homemade chili is only $12, thus I bought two containers to take home) and the service was attentive.I was walking by Café Twigs looking for a place to grab a bite. What a gem! This small neighbourhood cafe is run by such lovely, friendly ladies. It's a pleasure to support their business.The soup, sandwiches and desserts are all delicious. I really want to try every sandwich on the menu, but I always end up ordering the same ones because I like them so much. Soups are home made and warm the body and soul.Here's the kicker, you can get a nice, big, healthy sandwich and a soup for significantly less than it would cost for a combo from McDonald's!!!...read full review
