Sushi shop Repentigny didn't answer the phone so I told myself I was going to go to the one in Lachenaie. Serious error. The sushi was not fresh, the smoked salmon and the avocados were of questionable color. When you place an order for $150 the least of my expectations is to receive a fee. Really disappointed with the quality. The taste was completely different from when I get it at the sushi shop near my house.* I'm adding a star for the sushi shop that communicated with me to try to make my experience a little less unpleasant...I'm still going to avoid the sushi shop on Montée des Pioneers and continue to go to the one in my neighborhood ( repentigny) which has never disappointed me.

The quality of service and food served has really declined for some time. I noticed that it's not always the same staff who are there and that the dishes don't taste as good anymore.I ordered sushi and a tuna and salmon poké with extra crispy chicken in a poké. They figured out a way to put everything except what I asked for in the poké. They had no tuna, no salmon, no crispy chicken but chicken strips. I only realized it at home after driving all the way. In the end I paid for a poké that did not have the requested ingredients.In addition, the sushi that I had ordered we found that they did not taste the same and we realized that the ingredients inside the sushi were not the same as usual and neither those displayed on their site. Internet.Frankly, I was really disappointed and I don't know if I would go back. (Maybe it's just staff turnover but I don't recommend going there or taking a good 5 minutes there to inspect the inside of your food to make sure they haven't cheated on it) the preparation)

Having tried many Sushi Shops, this is THE best in every way!The portions (sushi and poké) are generous, nothing compared to some other Sushi Shops.The sushi is well made, beautiful, good, fresh and the service is impeccable.I work on the south shore, I live in Montreal, but I don't hesitate for a second when it comes to my sushi: it's Sushi Shop Lachenaie!!When I'm stuck on the south shore, I always end up regretting going to the Sushi Shop in Varennes: half the stock in the poké (even when I pay for an extra), all the chef's choices are cheap (Philadelphia and pollock in abundance) and there is always an error in my order. Each time I tell myself that I should have let it be and entrusted my sushi to Lachenaie ;-)In Lachenaie, it's always perfect! ♥️
