Went there a while ago and found some plastic in the salad. Food was good overall, so we didn’t make a big deal. But this time it was all horrible.First the price went up. We can see on the picture on Facebook that the family special is 23.99, but in the restaurant it’s 33.99. 10$ more? Then today, my GF and I both got food poisoning. The only thing we ate together is the chicken, I can’t believe we got it from somewhere else.Seeing all the good reviews here, maybe it was a bad night? Well we gave it two shots, never again.

When I saw that there was a Portuguese restaurant in the area that specialised in chicken, I was excited. After eating my roast chicken, I was left disappointed. The pira pira sauce is quite tasty, but the chicken itself was incredibly bland and tasteless. It tasted a little worst than any roast chicken that you get from the grocery store, but smaller and far more expensive. The chicken should be the most enjoyable part of the experience, not the other way around.

I can't wait until it's open to the public again. The music from DJ CRK was incredible. And the staff very beautiful and friendly. Just be respectful and not thirsty.

Food is excellent and the workers supper friendly. Tho a huge turn off was how the management were treating the employee. The manager even kept looking at me with an arrogant look when he saw my displeased face after speaking to his employee in harsh way. Please treat your staff better, they are the one running he buisness and giving it its soul. God's blessing to all?

Not wearing face masks, shouting while serving the food and not the best attitude.Every time I go there, I wish one day the service will be better but it’s just not what’s happening. This las time there was 4 people working in the restaurant and only 1 wearing the mask (and other guy wearing it for small periods of time). The guy serving the food kept shouting while filling the plates and he looked so stressed. It’s the last time I tried to support this business by ordering food. It’s a shame because I really think they can improve a lot, the location is good, there’s no other Portuguese chicken place around (that I know) and the business has potential... but they really need to have the will. The food and portions are ok.

The person working was very nice and open to criticism. The sandwich portion is big enough for a fairly big appetite and the fries get you the rest of the way.

Great chicken with amazing piri piri sauce! The fries are not oily and spiced very well. Their salad is a generous portion with good vinegary homemade sauce. Their rice is delicious and tender. 10/10 recommend!

Tasty and juicy chicken. Fast service. Fair price

Classic Portuguese chicken in Verdun. The fries rival Chalet BBQ in taste and amount. All in all quality and quantity reign supreme in this unassuming eatery.

It is located next to Basha on Wellington street. Not to be confused with another restaurant Santos on St-Paul's street. We ordered Peri Peri chicken Family combo, and was very disappointed. The portion was generous but it was no taste. The chicken was inedible without the sauce. Definitely not the Portuguese chicken we had in the past...

Tried it for the 1st time and the whole chicken was juicy and soft, not dry like at some other restaurants. They also put extra sauce on the side , no charge. The price was also quite reasonable

Highly recommended. Chicken, rice, fries and salad. Peri Peri and pasteis de Nata really worth adding.
