First time here, and let me tell you...it was phenomenal! Food was exquisite and tasteful. Staff friendly and attentive, and drinks on point. We had oysters, grilled and raw...an explosion of taste. Octopus, on point. Tenderloin, moist and full of flavors.. everything was just great! So worth

Nice restaurant. Good food, service, et. Very popular. But do something about the lighting. It is VERY dim. It is DARK in there. At least the table we got (twice) was so dark, we couldn't see the menu, we couldn't see our food or drink, we had to use phone flash light. We spend a lot here. The fun of eating at a nice place to be able to see things. Mood lighting yes, not darkness. I don't understand why they don't repair lights that have gone out. Please light the place up at least so we can see what we are eating. Thank you.

Went out last night with a group of 8 (my family plus a family of four visiting from Europe). Most of us ordered the fish tacos (baked) and they were completely tasteless. The fish was mush and the slaw had zero flavor. The calamari apps were the only redeeming part of the meal. The dining room was uncomfortably dark and we had to take our phones out to see the menu. The restaurant was almost empty (2 other tables were occupied) so we asked the waitress if she could possibly split the bill for us and she made it clear that this would be a huge inconvenience. We paid for it on one card and will not be going back.
Great food! Nice menu. Consistently good. On this occasion, we did take-out and were very happy with the results.

Awesome restaurant. Food has always been rock solid. Their “Lemon Chicken Parmigiana“ is amazing. While the name may have some people wondering, it’s really a great version of Chicken Milanese. The crispiest coated perfect chicken covered with a very fresh salad and and awesome lemon dressing. Wow…The hot chicken and the fresh chilled salad together is incredible.My wife and I love many of the other dishes on the menu. Never a disappointment.Highly recommended..

Absolutely delicious!!! My family and I enjoyed dining here for our anniversary dinner and we had a pleasant experience. The place is clean and has a nice ambiance with candlelight on each table. Our server could have been a little more attentive but she did her job and that works for us. The oysters and cocktail shrimp were fresh and sweet. The swordfish is a must try and the tortellini is outstanding. I was not too impressed with the lobster chowder but my husband enjoyed it with a little Tabasco so I suppose it's worth a try. Overall we were very happy with our visit and can't wait to return!

came in tonight for the first time with reservations for my birthday and was completely disappointed . we walked in and were told our table wasn't ready . not a problem as i walked over to the bar and sat i wasn't acknowledged. We then get approached our table was ready . We were seated in a sopping wet table where we waited for over 20 min for someone to even come by and greet us as we watched multiple servers pass by our table . we then reached the 20 min mark and decided it was time to head out . i then tell the hostess we were leaving and we hadn't been serviced she then replies " ok, bye!" with attitude . likely never returning as we were fortunate enough to get reservations at hemenways tonight
