Easily the best sandwich/sub shop in the area. I have been on a mission to find the best subs in the east bay since moving here 6 months ago and I have been largely disappointed.That was until I tried Grande Forno. Their bread is fresh with just the right amount of chew to it. The meats and topping are super fresh, high end and assembled with care. Tons of flavor in every sandwich I've had. They know how to make a bomb sandwich here!

Excellent new restaurant. Sandwich well worth the price. We tried the St Anthony Club everything was fresh and the sauce is tasty and authentic Italian tasting. A fantastic addition to Barrington. Excellent food great prices.

Working in the area and found this place. Sandwiches are great, stuffed cherry peppers are addictive. Prices seem very reasonable especially for the size of the sandwiches. Good food and value IMO.
While there were none of the typical Italian bakery treats, the eggplant parm was off the hook. Will return for sure and based on how good it was, I would bet the lasagna is delicious too!

Amazing Italian. Lasagna excellent, meatballs, sandwiches. Delicious Bread, Pizza Dough. Truly authentic, glad I checked it out... I think it is the best Italian food I have had in a long time.
