This is the third time my girlfriend, and I have been here, and all I can say is, YOU don't have to drive over the stupid Washington Bridge to go to Federal Hill, or Cranston, to get excellent Italian food. I don't mean to disrespect, but Spaghetti Lane does it right. Every dish I have tried has been flavorful, and great portions. I took my girlfriend here for Valentine's day. She had the chicken/eggplant parm, and J had the veal parm. I do suggest making a reservation, because seating is very limited in this establishment, which I think is fine. It's more quaint, and not noisy, which I like. Overall, I highly recommend the Carbonara, and Parmigiana.

Food was absolutely delicious! We loved our meals, and they were large portion sizes and left plenty to take home. The dessert case was amazing. There were so many options, we took a few home and they all tasted just as good the next day. Only downside, it was our first time visiting and the restaurant is split between two units. It was a bit confusing as we weren't sure which unit to go into to give our name. Both units are small, so there was not much space to wait for our table, we opted for waiting in the car. However, on a warm night, it seems like there is space to wait outside.

Food was best we have had in a long time. Hats off to everyone who works there. Met the owner Saturday night. She is so sweet an so happy that people loved the food. We ate in the cafe area, which was quaint an comfortable. We look forward to returning an trying different items on the menu.

Extremely small and limited menu. Huge wine selection but if wine isn't your thing, why would you eat there. If they're busy they'll fill your bowl with more pasta and less seafood. That's not to say the food isn't tasty, it certainly is, just don't go for a holiday meal (valentines day, mother's day, etc).

Spaghetti Lane is a scam, I believe. The food is sub-par and they underpay their workers. This was an unwelcoming experience for me and the waitresses barely paid attention to me. I do not recommend.

For 2 people 10-20$ is a joke. Drinks start at 10$. Entrees start at 20. I ordered a strawberry margarita amd I watched her pour a 6 or 8oz CANNED margarita!! 10$ SERIOUSLY!! THE CHICKEN PARM WAS GREAT. Nothing
Food, service and a great place to bring a friend for a great coffee and special treat! The cafe is so cute! Plenty of Italian specialties. Pastries, specialty coffees , sandwiches desserts and they added gelato recently! How can you refuse a visit.

We waited about 1 and 3/4 hours for our meal. The special appearance by a chef from Italy was not good. The sausage and spaghetti special had NO sausage and did not come with the requested penne. Another "special " lacked the asparagus. Extremely disappointing. This group of 4 (3 regulars) will never return.

I came here for the first time with my wife and in-laws after seeing that the Prov Journal listed it as number one in Italian restaurants in Rhode Island. That's a tough thing to live up to in RI. It's almost unfair to raise the expectation that high. I would say they don't qualify for that title based solely on the fact that they don't use fresh pasta (which is why they got 4 instead of 5 stars from me-I would have gone 4.5 if that was an option). Other than that, everything was excellent. We ordered a bottle of their house Chianti ($29) that was very good. No full bar (I would have liked a Manhattan, but it's not a deal breaker). We started with the appetizer special, an order of squash flowers for the table. They were crispy, light and delicious. My wife said they were the best she'd ever had. They came on top of their red sauce, so we got a preview of that. The sauce was spot on. My in-laws both got the veal parm. It was flawless. Super crispy, a perfect amount of sauce and cheese, served on top of pasta, they choose spaghetti. My wife got the scallop penne special with mushrooms in a (possibly truffle) cream sauce. She loved it. I got the veal/eggplant parm. Like the veal parm, it was great. Everything arrived hot. The service was perfect. Everyone was friendly and helpful. Even if we hadn't split the squash flowers, I doubt anyone would have been able to finish their entree; the servings were huge, so huge, in fact, that none of us had room for dessert. Next time. And there WILL be a next time. From the Yelp pics, it looked like you ate in the cafe (display cases, etc), which was the reason we hadn't eaten there sooner, we were looking for a date night vibe and the Yelp pics only showed the cafe side, but there's also a restaurant space that's open Tuesday - Saturday from 3 pm - 9 pm. This information is on their website, so it's my own fault for not digging a little deeper. It was a bit chilly near the window but bearable. Best Italian Restaurant in RI? Maybe, for some. Awesome Italian restaurant worth trying? Definitely.

Spaghetti Lane has the best meat sauce for pasta that I have ever tasted! We love going here and can't wait to get back in Rhode Island and have dinner here
