We stopped in here after having dinner at Brick Pizza. Had cocktails and listened to Rumford Junction. Surprising and fun little spot.

Very nice place, it has a lot of space, it's like a coffee bar, a little strange but it looks great, good customer service!

I had a book signing at Borealis in Bristol. It was a wonderful experience. They went above and beyond, making us welcome. Highly recommended. Marilyn Mott Tolleson, author of Buddy's Tattoo Shop. Keeping America Beautiful.

What a great spot! Coffee AND cocktails! Loved the flight of coffee and the Irish whiskey coffee. Great place for pre-dinner cocktails and post -dinner coffee, dessert and cocktails. Love that they're open until 9 during the week.

This place has become a PROBLEM for me- I’m completely addicted to their coffee and breakfast sandos. So good!Borealis has it all- incredible food, fast service, great coffee and a beautiful ambiance. Favorite place to have refreshments while catching up on work, meeting a friend or playing a game a chess. I’m so glad Borealis is in Bristol!

Unfortunately my review is entirely to do with service, and shouldn’t be reflective of their coffee which I have nothing but great things to say about. Been going to Borealis since long before this location was even open; we live right around the corner from the Riverside location. My husband and I stopped in here after being at the events downtown to grab some dessert and coffee while we fed our newborn twins. Since they were in a carriage and there were multiple singular people taking up the bigger tables, we settled in the area that’s typically closed for events, because the doors were off and it had no signage. So when I ordered I asked them if it was okay and explained the situation. The girl tells me it’s not okay that we sit there, that we’d have to pay. And so I asked if anyone had reserved it for the night or even just the next hour. She said no, but again told me we couldn’t sit there, even though at this point I would’ve just paid to. She further asks one of the other kids working there who also says flat out no, not even that they’d have to ask. Pretty sickening that a local business I’ve personally supported for years would turn away a community member and their infant children when they are paying customers. Honestly it even feels discriminatory of young families, and at the very least is unkind especially on a brisker fall night. The girls were asleep, so it’s not even like they were disturbing people. I’d be hard pressed to give them my business again.Kid-friendliness: Not family friendly at all

Great place to wake up or end the night. Excellent coffee. Fantastic bar. Quality bites to eat. Versatile space able to be rented out for private parties, or just a low-key place to chill.

Great place for a hot beverage and tasty treat. They were very accommodating when we asked for a drink modification. The staff was very friendly. The gluten free brownie was amazing! It was also a cozy place to sit and relax. Plenty of seating unlike your chain establishments. I definitely recommend Borealis!

I liked the aesthetic when I walked in until I got to the counter and the girl at the register didn’t greet me and said “what do you want?” Without even a smile. Throughout the entire order she was short snarky and seemed like she couldn’t be bothered. I wasn’t able to enjoy the atmosphere because I wanted to leave so badly. Maybe if she just said hi the experience wouldn’t have been so bad. Just needs better customer service from the one girl with brown hair and glasses. Disappointed by the parfait.no actual fruit just sauce. For some reason there was rosemary in mine? I do not like rosemary which is how I was able to point out the few pieces of seasoning in my parfait??? Maybe it touched something else but that would be cross contamination which worries me. And if it was meant to be in there, why? Why not add fruit instead of a random seasoning that just ruins the flavor all together. Food and coffee is not worth the price or poor experience

The building this is located in is beautiful, and the space feels comfy. Nice selection of teas, coffee, and pastries. If you get lucky, you can find a gateau in the case!

I just hosted a private event here and was very happy with the experience I had working with the owners. They were very accommodating and helpful in the planning of the event. The food was great and the atmosphere was perfect for an intimate event. I would highly recommend Borealis if you need a nice place to host an event!

The lady that took our order was extremely rude to my girlfriend. It was our first time going and she didn’t even say hi to us when we came in just “what do you want” very monotone and did not seem to enjoy her life very much. When we asked about cold foam she cut my girlfriend off and just said “we don’t have coldfoam.” Needless to say she handled her job with little grace which is a shame considering the atmosphere and food is good, yet pricy. You typically expect a little bit more hospitality from these places and if Dunkin and Starbucks can be nicer to us then why spend 30 bucks on coffee if I won’t get the same treatment. Very disappointed and will not be returning. If anyone is interested the one taking our order was the one with brown hair and glasses.

What a great spotFor a cafe americano and a baked good. Great Vibe, relaxing atmosphere. What I wouldn't give to have this place near my home. I make a stop here each time I am in town to visit family.

Best cappuccino I've had in a long time and the avocado toast was delicious. Free wifi, tables, outlets, good service and clean bathrooms tick all the boxes.
