Horrible food and they put red sauce on their penne when you Marsala. Who the hell puts red sauce on Marsala pasta. Amateurs

We are semi-regulars at Pomodoro. We love it. We are never disappointed and the food is ALWAYS great. Yeah, it's loud, that's part of it. It's an Italian restaurant. When have you been to an Italian restaurant and it was quite? When it was closed maybe. When it comes to the food, Pomodoro is one of the best Italian restaurant in New England.

It was like they forgot that we were there at first. The pizza was good but the rest of the food was just okay. We were charged a corking fee but we opened our own wine and poured the whole time. Not the best food, should have just gone to Federal Hill.

The food was outstanding. The service was impeccable. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was the noise level. We sat in the enclosed outdoor room. Absolutely awful. Way too loud. Couldn't hear our amazing waitress and ourselves. We tried to go inside but it wasn't available. I would call the restaurant for a reservation and request indoors or at the bar, and not to it online. Other than that it was fantastic.

What a gem this place is! Food was delicious, unbelievably reasonable, and its BYOB. Staff was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back. Very small so make sure you make a reservation.

Nice atmosphere, personable and attentive staff. Food was average good. I know that's not a category but it wasn't good to the point where it's a must go back for us.

Absolutely THE BEST Italian in the East Bay. Our fav has been Roberto's for many years, but now that we finally tried Pomodoro's... we have a winner! The food was top-notch... service great, it's sad the space is so small as they would be doing triple the volume I'm sure. We will be back many times and next looking forward to trying their pizza that everyone raves about! Outstanding experience!

All the food was simple and delicious, the service was friendly and helpful. The prices all seemed reasonable, which is nice these days. My only issue was it's super dark, we could barely even see our server who was dressed in black! We will be back many more times I'm sure.

Great comfort, food good old-fashioned Italian cooking some of the best gravy I've ever had. The staff was super friendly and treated us like we were friendly one of the owners came out from the kitchen and talked to us for quite a while. I've never had a bad meal there. We absolutely love this place.

The hostess sat us outside the restaurant, so every time someone opened the door to come in, or had to pick up their takeout it was annoying, and freezing. The table for 2 was tiny, but so is the restaurant. The food was very good. I will go back but I'll wait for warmer weather.
