Hello everyone, I have been to this restaurant several times, it is small but the food is great, fair prices, I recommend it.

I gave this restaurant one star because their rellenitos are really good; however, all their other products are subpar. I placed a large order the day before Christmas under someone's recommendation. When I picked up my order the following day, the attendant took over an hour to bring the food out. I'd ordered regular tamales and tamales negros. They told me they had run out of tamales negros and offered me two regular tamales in exchange. When I got home, only one of those tamales was a tamal negro. On top of that, it tasted like they sprinkled some cinammon over the masa and called it a day. Also, I ordered torrejas and they gave me a half-order of torrejas and a half-order of molletes, which were fried on what seemed to be overused oil. The taste of regular tamales was inconsistent. It was like they ran out of them and went to buy others somewhere else for my order. I will never go back to this place. There are plenty of other Guatemalan restaurants and bakeries where you can find much better food than here.

The place is small, it has an eating area, very clean and tidy. The bread is delicious, better than that of the El Quetzal bakery. Very soft and spongy and a very good variety, plus they sell Guatemalan snacks and the granitas are very good.

I’m Italian, but places like this is why I love to try all cuisines. Great Guatemalan food!!I might become addicted to their Rellenitos de plátano. ($2.43 w/ tax). I’m a huge fan of plantains and when you fry them with a refried bean/chocolate mixture on the inside….delicioso!!!!Their Chile Relleno sandwich ($4) was very good and light with fresh bread.Very friendly staff. I’ll be back to try some of their baked goods and pastries.
