My wife and I order Tacos and pupusas and the guy warmed up the tacos on the flat grill and they were cold inside and the pupusas went from the Friedge to the flat grill and were not cooked fully. Not worth it.....

This review is only for the bakery. I went looking for treats for Dia de Muertos which coincides with a family birthday. The ambiance looked right for a combination grocery, restaurant and bakery like what I grew up with, but like so many places in PVD area, "Mexican" is used to mean Guatemalan or some other place. Like another reviewer, I was mean-mugged by the woman serving me throughout my short visit and being stared at by a few other customers. I spoke in Spanish the entire visit. Nearly every pastry was the same orange brown color as the conchas pictured, enormous, and not appealing looking. I decided to give it a try anyway, and bought conchas, orejas, and a few other items. The orejas (elephant ears/palmieres) were burnt, and deeply short on butter and honey or syrup. It tasted like an overdone dry croissant. There was another item that was a puff pastry base with a sugared coating that was passable. The conchas were awful. The entire bag went in the garbage. I'd have been better off buying the Bimbo pan de muertos from Walmart, don't repeat my mistake.

Nice flavor. We ate in, steak burritos and quesadilla and they were delicious

I love this place. It makes my mouth happy. I've been ordering from here since the beginning of the pandemic. I've only ordered from the taqueria section, and had everything except for their tortas and flautas. They do have a convenience store and bakery on the other half, but nothing beats freshly prepared, hot food. Their written menu reads: (super) burrito (yes two sizes for burrito options), quesadillas, tacos, Mexican plates, tortas, pupusas. Of course, you can choose your fillings as desired, and you have options for garnishes. They also have a triple selection of agua frescas. As another user has mentioned in the tips section, something about their lengua is indeed dope. Maybe that's why I order their lengua 99% of the time in everything. Their salsas are not particularly picante, but they do complement their food quite well. If you happen to come during their busy time, the parking lot can sometimes become minority congested, but that's only a small inconvenience.

Really impressed by the lay out of this restaurant/shop. The business is split into two different layouts which gives an authentic impression. The burrito and plate of steak was delicious. The food is sold at a low cost along with the candy in the store area. They prepare the food in front of you, guaranteeing it's fresh. The workers are pleasant and eager to please.

This is a takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. I had three types of tacos, hard tacos, and a pupusa. The was plenty of food but it didn't have much flavor. When I added the green sauce, it added some heat but no flavor. Great presentation of food, just no flavor. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 6.1.

This place has some good burritos and tacos. Their pastries were stale when I tried one

The food here is spectacular and is made to order quickly. The pupusas are delicious. The salsa is flavorful and the spicy one is actually picante. They have plenty of vegetarian options too. Highly recommend.
