Recently enjoyed this restaurant for a birthday celebration. Food was savory. Had the soup of the day - lentil soup which was flavorful. My entree I chose the ravioli Angelica which was light & perfectly cooked with a light tomato sauce. Delectable. For dessert tiramisu & the apple tart. I have to say the tiramisu was one of the best I ever tasted so far. Light, creamy. The tart was also very good. My friends also enjoyed their meals as well. The drinks & wines were great. Many Italian wines & great selections. We were greeted by the owner upon arrival who was extremely friendly & even came back to our table to chat & inquired about our meals. The staff was also very helpful & friendly & attentive. We were also seated upstairs & enjoyed our meal being the only ones. It was like having our own private party. It is definitely on my “ return” list.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Masseria Rhode Island, and I must say, it was truly an awesome experience.I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to the Manager, José, whose attention is beyond satisfactorily and sets La Masseria Rhode Island apart. Additionally, I must commend talented chef Milton and team , for their culinary expertise Each dish that was presented to us was a work of art, It is clear that the chefs at La Masseria Rhode Island take immense pride in their craft, and their passion shines through in every bite.

Starting with the appetizer we had the Scallop, shrimp calamari . The portion was very small considering the price which was shown online for $22.50 turned out to be $26.50 on the menu at the restaurant. The 3 small shrimp was overcooked, the calamari was thick cut and the scallops (few) were small. The bread was stale. Our meals were without much flavor. My wife had a dinner that was to have lobster mixed with pasta in a tomato sauce. The lobster was more likely langostino rather than lobster. It did not taste like lobster or even look like lobster. There was zero presentation of that meal. I had a dinner that had tube pasta that was very rubbery and chewy and the meatballs and supposed ribs had no taste and again this meal had no presentation. For the money this was a HUGE disappointment. On a plus note our server was very nice and the support staff were friendly and attentive. There was a very nice little light on the table.

Came for a birthday, and this place was an unexpected gem. In a state with many excellent Italian restaurants, La Masseria is one of the most authentic around, and the experience genuinely made me feel like I was in a small Italian village. Exceptional wine list has both top-rated vintage reds and hidden gems from Italy. Food was technically excellent and creative. Service was friendly and helpful and genuinely made for a memorable night.

Our waiter Peter along with his brother Seth provided amazing service! We were celebrating my husband's birthday and they made our dinner extra special. The food at La Masseria is always fantastic, we highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed!

The service was very good. Food was average. Wine list was very good. The dining room ambiance was very good but the noise level was extremely loud. Valet parking was a plus. A very nice bar but maybe 10 seats. I rate the experience a 3 out of 5

Unfortunately, I have been to this restaurant three times before had a great meal. Tonight we showed up and waited about 25 minutes past our reservation and then 20 minutes later before our waiter even took a drink our drink order . We then left.

This is probably the 20th time my husband and I have eaten here. It was one of my favorite places. Last night we had 8:00 reservations.Nick was our server and he was attentive, charming and did his job well. We ordered the sole special that came with scallops, potatoes and brussel sprouts. The plate had a small piece of sole and one small scallop. I asked Nick if this was the only scallop that came with the dish. He looked disappointed and went to the kitchen. I assume it was a manager who came to the table and asked how our dinner was. I asked him the same question and he said that is what you get. That was the end of the conversation. Time to change management ! We certain will go elsewhere to spend our $200.

Incredible menu!! Homemade pasta's, great appetizers. An overwhelming list of great specials as well..... MUST try the homemade tagliatelle bolognese! Beautiful fish special. Doesn't matter what you order, you can taste the passion they put into each dish.

Been here in past with my husband. Last night having dinner at bar, bartender/server were amazing. A woman who was sitting at table behind us was incessantly screaming/laughing. Fine dining prices. are bill being close to $200.00 however not worth the money at a sports bar environment, we will not be back.

As usually, the entire experience was fabulous! The veal parm with a pounded veal chop was perfectly cooked. The mozzarella special was full of flavor. Service was great. Well worth going on on a freezing night!

The power went out shortly after we sat down. The loud beeping alarm stated on for 15+ minutes. Only certain pasta dishes were available due to power outage. Quite disappointed to see no deduction on our bill given the limited menu options + intrusive alarm noise. I feel management lax in acknowledging the diminished experience.
