When it comes to Indian food, I'm a bit of a snob. I've had the good fortune to travel all over the world-sans India unfortunately- but have always sought out Indian restaurants- Be it NYC, Boston, Chicago, London, Amsterdam...and so on. Rasa can hold its own against any Indian restaurant. I am blessed that this fine eating establishment is only 5 minutes from my house, so they know me well there. Between taking many friends and visitors to dine in-house to my countless take-out orders over the years, I can attest that I've never had a bad meal here. Though I did make the mistake of asking for extra spicy on my selections once and discovered that this level of spice is a bit much for me and my family. Bear in mind that I love spicy food but the extra spicy at Rasa is for fire eating patrons. We usually get a couple of order of Vegetable Samosas which come with an onion relish, a brown sweet sauce and a green sauce. Then we almost always get a couple orders of Cauliflower 65. When dining in-house we often get the mussels and ask for naan to dip into the delicious broth it comes with. We've tried most of the main dishes, though I do love their mix grill and their lamb curry. The bottom-line is that you simply cannot miss here. Outstanding and speedy service and always with a smile. Tried this place as I believe they serve the best Indian food in the state. Salud!

We had the grilled shrimp and the rosemary nan to start and the chicken korma and the chicken masala for our entrees, they all were delicious! The seating was cosy on a cold night and Hunter was an excellent server. This is our first time here, but we will return.

Smaller containers for takeout means less food for your $. Disappointed with amount of food for the same $. Not enough food for our family of five. Still good food, just not enough.Parking: Front parking was great.

Great Indian food, from the chicken tiki to the curries, we eaten there numerous times and they have yet to disappoint!

I've been coming to Rasa for years but I think this may be my first review! Last night I brought some friends who had never dined at Rasa before and their expectations were exceeded. Wonderful service, great cocktails, and of course the best food!

The best Indian food I’ve had in years! It was so delicious, we tried several dishes for the first time on a Sunday, then went into the restaurant the following Saturday for a true meal. What a wonderful addition to the area! We’ll absolutely be back! I wish I had discovered you sooner!

The best Indian restaurant in RI by far. Their takeout service is also excellent. They are even alert to dishes that are not consistent with my dietary choices and have double checked with me! How many restaurants are so considerate?

We ordered takeout recently from Rasa, but I have dined inside the restaurant. We ordered quite a bit of food, and to our surprise, they included a free cauliflower appetizer which was to die for! The chicken tikka masala, malai kofta, and lamb curry were incredible. The naan is delicious, and the samosas are fabulous. One of the best Indian restaurants my husband and I have ever been to!Vegetarian options: I am not a vegetarian, but I always get the malai kofta when we get Indian food. Rasa's is absolutely delicious. If you are a vegetarian, I highly recommend trying this dish!
