Went for drinks, ordered their speciality cocktails- one was some banana bread type old fashioned- was given straight bourbon and nothing else when it was supposed to be this whole crazy cocktail banana liquor and a sugar rim etc.. when we brought up that there was an error, bartender just said they were out of the ingredients and walked away. No apology no offer to make a new drink. We should have been informed before he made it we would have selected another drink.Ok so i guess lets give the customers a completely different drink and still charge them for something they never wanted?Stunningly careless service. The atmosphere seemed nice but we won’t be back.

Good Tavern food. Wish they had a larger seafood selection.

We were attending a show at the comedy connection and had a group of 6 adults. I called the day before to make a reservation, which they accepted. When we arrived they didn't have a table or space for us. We were able to grab a drink from the bar and stand on the side. They also let us order food and bring it next door, which was nice but the sit-down meal I was planning with my friends. I probably won't return because of this situation unfortunately. The hostess was nice and the waiter that helped with our drinks was fantastic. Eating in the comedy club was awful but at that point I was starving and didn't want to miss the show.

Brunch was delicious! Great Bloody Marys. Home fries were a little over seasoned, but all in all a great experience!

The food was just not good. All 4 of us were disappointed. I hate to leave a bad review because I'm always grateful that people are trying and working hard to make it. I wish I could say it was fantastic.

Stopped here before a comedy show next door. We got some light ape and drinks. It took a while for anyone to come and take our order which is why I gave the service a 3. We almost left because we thought we weren’t going to make it in time. The food was very good and loved the presentation was fun and cute with the mozzarella “ducks”. Price was also reasonable.

An Absolute Gem in Rhode Island's Food Scene! ?????Last night, before heading to a comedy show, me and two friends decided to try out the Black Duck Tavern, and we were blown away by the experience. The cocktails were the first highlight, each one fabulously crafted, setting the perfect tone for the evening. We shared a couple of appetizers - the crab rangoons and chicken wings. Both dishes were exceptional, far surpassing our expectations. The true star of the night, however, was the fried chicken sandwich. Each of us ordered one, and we all agreed they were absolutely fabulous, a testament to the quality and creativity of the kitchen. The Black Duck Tavern is a shining example of how good Rhode Island's food scene really is. The service was as impressive as the food - friendly, attentive, and adding to the overall wonderful atmosphere. And to top it all off, the prices were fantastic, providing great value.I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience. It's not just a meal; it's a culinary adventure that's not to be missed!

As soon as I sat, I saw that the only picture on the bar was that of Lemmy (Motorhead). Bingo! I've been to London a few times and this place has exactly that vibe. Of a fine, proper English pub. Very clean, inviting atmosphere. The servers and bar tenders were very attentive and friendly. For a pub, the food was very good and the bloody Mary was excellent. Will definitely return. My only suggestion to management is: for the tables in the middle, lose the round benches and replace with the same chairs you have at the bar. Would be much more comfortable and ladies would have a place to put their bags and coats.

We went here prior to a comedy show on a Saturday night. We made reservations, and were seated right away. The menu was decent with great pup style apps & dinner options, also interesting drink options. Between the 6 of our different meals & drinks, not one complaint! We'd definitely go back.

Passing through Providence en route to Maine and stopped here for a late nite dinner. The food was good and the atmosphere was great. We were sat next to the stage, so it was a bit loud for a small place, but we still enjoyed ourselves. The service was ok, we waited a bit between seeing our server.

Great food served by a great welcoming team. They did anything they could to make sure we had a comfortable ya me to sit with our child and group of friends and offered alternatives

First time here. Food and drink were good. Didn't realize the menu selection was somewhat limited to burgers and a few other items, but otherwise it had great drinks and the charm of a 1920's speak easy. Worth a visit.

Delicious meal before heading to the comedy club next door. The restaurant is large and very welcoming. The drinks are expertly made (if you like spicy drinks, go for the “Some Like it Hot”), our waitress was attentive and the food was hot and delicious. We had to try the mozzarella sticks in the shape of ducks - gooey and stringy and the best crust! We both had sandwiches for dinner, and my burger was exceptional… juicy and tasty with an amazing fig spread.Leave room for dessert, the caramel/salt topped cheesecake is a winner ?The restaurant is accessible. There is parking in the back and on the sides, as well as street parking.
