Just had lunch at Spirito’s. The new outdoor seating area is a great addition. The chicken sandwiches were delicious and juicy. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant was clean and hand sanitizer was readily available. Five Star lunch.

I have never had a bad experience at Spirito's. The food is so delicious and the cocktails are very refreshing. The waitstaff is personable and attentive and sometimes funny.

Love everything about this place; food, atmosphere, drinks, staff, big parking lot and the gorgeous outside deck! Highly recommend this place.

Beautiful historic house turned restaurant on Federal Hill. Food was ample, well prepared, and nicely presented. Plenty of free parking

We went there several years ago and were very pleased with the food. I have not been there in a while but I heard it is still a good place to have authentic Italian food.

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The 2 most important things to me are good food and reasonable prices and this place delivered on both. We stopped here on the way to waterfire one Saturday night. It was unusually quiet(7th game of the Celtics/Heat series) so service was prompt. The salad was full of fresh greens, house dressing great. We ordered shrimp scampi(5 stars) and lobster ravioli(4 stars). It was as good as any I've gotten at Federal Hill, for 20% less. Drinks were very reasonable, too. 2 entrees with a carafe of wine, salad, bread, 1 soup, 2 coffees and 1 ice-cream came to $53. Planning to bring friends there. And I liked the electric candle touch on the table.

This is not Spirito's. It is now called Son's of ITaly/Gavi Trattoria, it is on Hicks Street. ANy way - food was good portions were smaller than I would have liked. You can get a discounted Gift Certificate at "Restaurants. com" No restrictions.

I had heard rave reviews for Sprito's. They were supposed to have really yummy old school Italian food. We ordered takeout from here, and although the staff was friendly, the food was very slow at making it into our hands, and after the wait it was just ok. I ordered the baked scallops, expecting some juicy sea scallops, and instead they were teeny tiny bay scallops. I guess you shouldn't make assumptions. The rest of the food was okay, but not exceptional. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, especially when there are so many other great (although some are far more upscale) Italian restaurants in RI. Federal Hill still has my vote, and it has some reasonably priced digs as well.
