“We recently went to Pianta in Providence Rhode Island, one of our favorite plant-based restaurants and a very special gathering place for Missy and I. A huge shout-out to Chef Michelle, you made our night genuinely fulfilling with your exquisite yet simple plant-based goodness. Thank you for the good work you do in our world and for proving that you can eat joyfully and plant-based simultaneously!! You are soooo worth the 90 minute drive to visit with you. We appreciate you! Kate Forest and Missy Doe“
“Officially one of my favorite bars in Providence! It's gorgeous inside, but the drink was absolutely amazing, and I don't typically drink. They have some great options, but I chose the beet drink with goat cheese foam which initially intrigued me but simultaneously sounded strange. Well it was delicious! Loved our experience and will be back.“
“Lovely ambiance. Amazing staff. Great selection of food.Thank you Jasper for an amazing experience.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options to choose fromParking: Parking is a little bit of a challenge, there’s about 3-4 diagonal spots. However, pedestrians were very kind and understanding.“
“One of my best food experiences EVER. Every single thing I ordered over exceeded my expectations. Everything was delicious. Made with quality ingredients and plated beautifully. The iced latte with oat milk and sesame seed and the tamarind lime drink were both refreshing and complimented the meals. The Mofongo benefict is a dish every person should try in their lifetime. The eggs in salsa criolla was genius way to incorporate flavors from the island. My husband and I bought their bottled hot sauce and jams. So delicious. I hope they will eventually ship those items to NYC.“
“Interesting, fun, and delicious small plates. Especially enjoyed the roti plate and cheese puff/fries. Homemade meringues (gratis) were a nice touch to end our meal. Excellent server who graciously answered our questions. Intimate, pleasant atmosphere. Another excellent addition to Pawtucket's growing food scene.“
“I have been to Providence twice in my adult life. Not sure why only twice because it is a lovely smaller city. But anyway, I managed to go into the same restaurant on both visits without having any idea. Palo is in a very old building right next to the canal - I mean really old. About five years ago this was a Irish pub. Now it is Palo - a restaurant with wonderful sangria and tapas. Service was great and the food was better. We could only get a reservation for 5 pm on a Friday (because we were very last minute) but it was fine. We had about 5-6 things on the menu - a chacuterie board, patatas bravas, lamb and the tortilla among them. I can understand why it is tough to get a table - this place is very good. Maybe on my third trip to Providence it will be something else but I certainly hope not because this place is a gem.“
“I visited Oz Taco's on "Taco Tuesday", where most of the tacos were $2. My partner and I tried the Black Ant Margarita, the Squeaky Wheel, and the Twister Margarita. I liked the Twister Margarita the best, the cotton candy definitely made it sweeter but you can still tell you're having a margarita. We decided to just try tacos - but also try almost every taco on the menu,. My favorites were the baja fish and the chicken chipotle tinga. I could've just ordered the baja fish and been satisfied. My partner liked the hot fried chicken. I thought the crispy pork belly was okay - basically mini banh mi in a taco. The Korean fried cauliflower just tasted like gochujang. The bang bang shrimp could have had more sauce. Overall, all of the tacos were filling and we were satisfied in the end. Our waitress was also really nice. I'd definitely come back now that I know which tacos I like and maybe try one of their rice bowls.“
“I honestly love this place and have gone multiple times went there recently and I have to say the girl that served us clearly didn’t know what she was doing. We order a few appetizers again love everything about this place so I’m a fan of most of the menu but she brought me the wrong appetizers and I didn’t say anything because we are hungry and didn’t mind but she never put in the other plate . I had to ask her to reorder. Then we got to Raman dishes and she brought out the wrong dish and didn’t even present me the right plate. While she keeps asking every 5 min if everything’s is fine making us feel rushed. After the meal we paid and I wanted to tip her more while handing her the money I inform her that I miss calculated the tip and wanted to give her more and her response was (Yah you did short me some money ) RUDE and so out of line if she is every my server next time I won’t tip her anything.“
“We went here Easter Day, everywhere else was full(which we expected). We found this place walking to a crosswalk by chance. We were welcomed in. Myself and my son got french toast, my girlfriend got eggs Benedict. When it came out I had a chuckle cause I was not expecting half a loaf of bread. But omg it was so good and light. My girlfriend couldn't stop eating her Benedict although she was full. My son enjoyed his also. The drinks the adults ordered was fantastic and mixed well. My son got chocolate milk. We paid 15$ a plate for the french toast, 22$ for the Benedict and around 12$ for the drinks not the milk though. You get your money's worth. A small place but absolutely worth it. Look at the pics it says it all.“
“We attended a Maison Ferrand cognac seminar & tasting the other night at Sapphire & it was such a fun & unique experience for us. The staff at Sapphire (Melissa, Marc, & Shiv), as well as the guest bartender (Vannaluck), went above & beyond to make the experience interactive & memorable. We were greeted immediately with a French 75 made with cognac - Did you know that the original French 75 called for cognac, as well as many other classic cocktails? No? Neither did I. The welcome aperitif was a great lil' treat to kick the night off with. We were given a mini charcuterie selection to keep us busy until the main event, which began about 20 minutes after we arrived. Vannaluck talked us through the history & characteristics of cognac. We were given 3 small pours of different cognacs to taste as well as a serendipitous, bonus mini pour at the end. Throughout the night, the kitchen sent out a variety of tapas that UTILIZED COGNAC. Cognac glaze, reduction, brine, etc. Fascinating! I went in knowing next to nothing about cognac & left with a decent understanding of the spirit. I've always wanted to do something like this, & Sapphire made it extremely accessible. It was also amazingly affordable. I'm really looking forward to more events like this one. Sign me up, please.“
“Ok so who knew Warren, RI had so many AMAZING food spots? I can't wait for my next visit to this cute little New England town. Most recently I had the pleasure of dining at Revival through a recommendation from a close friend and MAN! this place did not disappoint. The inside is cozy and welcoming, the service was speedy and friendly and the food selection was incredible. I also love a place that has specials - my mother in law enjoyed the short rib pappardelle. My first time having Osso Bucco and OMG - I need it again and again. Cocktails weren't half bad either, I'd love to return for a more casual snack and drink.“
“Great food, great service. Several vegetarian and vegan options. The yakisoba available during lunch time is a favorite.Vegetarian options: Veggie ramen and yakisoba are great. There were a couple other vegetarian options clearly labeled too.“
“This place is sooo quality, drinks always satisfy, food is on point, always hot and made fresh. Atmosphere is good for any occasion, wether it’s romantic date night or just drinks with the girls. This is always my go to spot, and I’m not even crazy about Dominican food, I just love it here. Staff is so friendly and so helpful but not overbearing.“
“We had a wonderful graduation dinner over the weekend. Not only was the service great, but the entire staff was wonderful!! Amazing chef prepared all the things including Paella and my favorite flan!! Do yourself a favor and get the paella, scallops and the pork belly and finish with a flan!! Thank you for a great dining experience!!“
“Hip, intimate spot with fantastic food and a Middle Eastern Vibe. The owner is Lebanese so you know the food is authentic. The Proprietor, Mr. Maatouk, is a locally famous restauranteur who certainly knows how to give the people what they want! Fresh, tasty food, intimate settings, good music, friendly staff and a creative well stocked bar. Best part is, it's priced well so you won't go home and cry about your empty pocketbook. Walking distance from Water fire and PPAC. I recommend this place for dates, theater dining, socializing and generally just to chill and relax with some great vibes.Dietary restrictions: They accommodate most restrictions especially Kosher/HalalParking: Try around backKid-friendliness: NotWheelchair accessibility: They make accommodations.“
“Tori Tomo has the very best ramen I have ever eaten. They know me well. I eat lunch there at LEAST once a week. Get the Tom Yum Ramen with Chicken. It's very hot and spicy but not inedible! It's the perfect meal. So satisfying and tasty. Most gracious owner/ chef and lovely waitstaff are always keeping the place in perfect form. It's a literal "can't miss" choice.“
“Went there for dinner with a friend last night and had a wonderful time. We were greeted right away and brought to a table. Celina, our waitress, was so friendly and bubbly. Since it was my first time, I asked for her recommendations and she gave great ones. I had the pear martini, which was delicious and refreshing. They had a special which included the appetizer, entree and dessert for a great price. I had the hummus tray, sirloin tip dish and passion fruit dessert. It’s been a while since I’ve gone to a restaurant and was delightfully surprised at how much I enjoyed my entire meal. Delicious food, great ambience, exceptional service, what more can I ask for? Will definitely be going back again and again.“
“Best meal I’ve had in Providence. The Arancini stole the show with stop-the-conversation amazing taste and left me happy for days. Definitely order this. Maybe order two servings. The chef slightly overcooked the Duck Breast, but I really enjoyed the dish overall. I would (will) order them again.Avoid the Foie Gras with jam. The foie gras is sub par — a bit tasteless and bad texture— and the jam completely overpowers the dish. Our server Joey was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable.“
“Love Ebisu, I'm a huge fan of the build-a-bowl ramen. Also I love the tako yaki appetizer. The atmosphere is relaxed. The staff are always friendly and helpful. In fact, the server recommended the tako yaki last time I was in so I was sure to order it again.“
