A total must!!! We drove by it and had to look twice when it said “APOCALYPSE CAFE” all we could think was the new Fallout series and let me tell you how glad we were to stop and check them out!The food was amazing, all tasted super fresh and very flavorful. The French Fries tasted nostalgic and even the soda was Crispy!From the moment you see the sign to waiting for you food at your table you will be so entertained with all the hidden secrets in the decorations.11 out 10 would recommend!!!The staff and owner were super nice as well! Their services very person centered, even said bye to locals and clients by their names. Truly Shady Acres is a hidden gem!

Words can’t begin to describe how much I love this restaurant, but I’ll try anyways. My family and I stopped at this restaurant on our way home from Mohegan Sun and we enjoyed it more than the casino. The service was amazing. Everyone was so welcoming and the food was outstanding! Any time I am within a 45 minute drive at this restaurant I will make it a point to go out of my way to stop and grab a bite. 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Kid-friendliness: They were so sweet to my kids and had great menu options for them

restaurant was freezing, food not cooked to order, took forever to get it. Also. dont go between 2 and 4. Breakfast ends at 2 but dinners dont start till 4. Wont go

We ordered gravy and cheese fries, clam chowder and clam cakes, a burger with greens, and the kids had pancakes. The disco fries came with real mushroom gravy. The burger was cooked exactly as I ordered, juicy and tender, and the house greens looked just made up for me. I wish I had ordered the clam chowder it was so dang good to try. The pancakes also fluffy and buttery. The servers seemed like family, very friendly, and someone stopped by to make sure we had everything. The name of the place and decor alone are worth a stop. We couldn't have happened upon a nicer place after a family hike.
