Amazing little book store with a lot going on. Books! Wine! Events! It's a place out of a movie or TV show! When I went there was an upcoming bingo night.

I'm a huge fan of bookstores. Real bookstores, with collections that have been thoughtfully built from the many thousands of available titles narrowed down to what the owners believe is worth putting on their shelves because they want us to buy them. Curiosity & Co isn't a big box store, and doesn't actually devote all of its floor space to shelving. Still, I've never failed to find a title (or 10) that's new to me but that I'd like to read. The shop has bestsellers, newly published works, and classics along with an inviting children's space. Free - beautiful - bookmarks are by each register: take one, or more, since they have lovely images of Aquidneck Island on them! There's also a wine bar, an upstairs space for readings (or book clubs, wine tastings, or private parties), and a beautiful patio area that also serves as a restaurant (for brunch and at other times).I've always felt welcome here, and have been comfortable picking up a book, buying a glass of wine and a bowl of salty nuts, and walking out to the patio. I can read a chapter or two in peace, deciding if it's the one I'm bringing home. This is what a bookstore is supposed to be like.

We stopped by recently because we wanted to experience the book store/wine bar combination while we were in Jamestown RI. Pleasantly surprised to find they'd added a gallery showing the evening we arrived, with a taste of wine and all the time we wanted to peruse the gallery as well as the book selections. The outdoor area, where the wine bar usually exists, looked lovely even though we were unable to experience it due to the very wet weather. Due to its size, the quantity of books offered is limited, but the quality is evident in the carefully curated selection. We were happy to learn that a discount is given with the purchase of a book and a bottle of wine - I don't remember the details but it's a nice perk when you set out to support a local business. I didn't catch the name of the person who was at the register, but she was very knowledgeable about both the wines and the books - she chooses everything with a lot of thought and care, and the result is wonderful.

Wine & books! In theory there is nothing wrong with the combo. Definitely more of a book store than wine store. As locals, It was our first time visiting! It was quiet which was nice but the ladies sitting at the desks (sommelier and admin?) didn’t really say much about wine/books/ or even greet us. There were a few people that came in after us also looking kind of confused and no one said anything. Maybe it was an off day but customer service was weak. Vibes were immaculate however. They clearly have an aesthetic going. But that is sort of it. Just aesthetic. They are definitely judging books (and wine) by their cover. Otherwise they have a decent snack menu and additional area upstairs with an photo gallery! You can also purchase and book/bottle combo which was a cool touch. Highly recommend and will be back!

This is an awesome bookstore with an incredible small town feel but an expansive selection. And what's better than a great bookstore? What about a great bookstore that serves wine and beer? Curiosity and company is a wonderful place to spend an evening or afternoon, and I would strongly encourage checking out their curated flight nights to enjoy a good company and a good wine.

This quaint Jamestown bookstore is unique in itself because not only are you greeted with a bright selection of books, but also a cute little wine bar. You'd be surprised to find out that they also have an upstairs area where you can enjoy wine tasting classes with a local Sommelier! There are different events every other Friday night and you can even book a private event! We ordered personal charcuterie boards during our private event. They were tasty but mostly of different cheeses (only two meats). The wine selection our sommelier picked out was delicious! I do wish they had more of a variety of wines on their menu to purchase by the bottle. Half of the wines on our tasting weren't available to purchase that night which was kind of a bummer. I definitely would have loved a bottle of the moscato but it was no longer available. All in all, I would love to go back and even take my husband to one of their Friday wine tastings!

Books and wine...what more could you want!?! This is one my favorite spots in Jamestown. Emma, the sommelier, offers great educational classes and fun wine nights. The wine selection is top notch, the cheese boards are amazing and the curated book selection is perfect. We love this little bookstore!

As a wine and book lover, I could not love this place more! Great selection of books and wonderful variety of wines along with a few beer varieties as well! The staff was awesome and it was very comfortable just sitting and relaxing inside. There is also a nice outside area as well. Will definitely revisit every time that we are in Jamestown! Check it out!

Amazing staff and the food was good too. But really - I can't say enough about the staff. They are probably one of the most accommodating and kind/friendly staff that I have ever encountered.

Great concept. Beautiful space and a nice selection of wines, many natural, organic, and biodynamic. The best part is the kindness of the owner and those who work at the book store / wine bar.
